Since Memorial Day weekend:
Gibson : 15 GS, 84.1 IP, 47 R, 44 ER, 11 HR, 4.70 ERA, 4.64 FIP, 4.35 xFIP
Berrios: 15 GS, 84.1 IP, 49 R, 43 ER,  9 HR, 4.59 ERA, 4.04 FIP, 4.67 xFIP
Santana: 15 GS, 92.1 IP, 53 R, 46 ER, 19 HR, 4.48 ERA, 5.09 FIP, 4.72 xFIP

Quality Starts since Memorial Day weekend:

Gibson: 5 out of 15 starts

Berrios: 7 out of 14 starts

Santana: 8 out of 15 starts

The stats look fine that you posted above. But, they look fine because Molitor pulls Gibson before he transforms into bad Gibby.

Meh, just another Gibby tease start. The 4A pitcher always looks good against a crap team that's already cooked for the season in august. Doesn't mean he can be a credible part of a contending rotation.

I guess I'd be ok with the bunt if Polanco was bunting for a hit and not just doing it to sacrifice?

I dislike the 8-man bullpen tremendously. Maybe it's what we need to mix and match our way to something resembling pitching success, but it doesn't seem warranted based on workload.

I think what impressed (I use that term loosely)  me the most about Gibson last night was his willingness to pitch inside with his fastball. Now it's fairly likely his increased willingness was due to almost nobody in the Sox lineup scaring him much, but it was nice to see him back a few people off for a change.

If only he had the jam to do it to better lineups, instead of reverting to Nervous Ned Nibbles.

It was a great game by Gibby. But I hope he realizes he can't load the bases with no outs against better teams.  I hope he can get on a roll though. He could really help us down the stretch if he pitches like the guy from a couple of years ago. He's a really good guy and I know fans really want him to be successful just from that stand point.

Great to see Trevor Hildenberger getting higher leverage opportunities and succeeding.  The Twins need him to be another solid option late in games.

It looks like I jinxed him... :-(

I've done the math, and if Gibson gets seven more starts, averages 6 1/3 innings and only averages 2 ER per game, he can get his ERA under 5.00. That might make him tradable this off season!

Go get 'em Kyle!

His contract is up at the end of the year. The Twins will let him walk.

Gibson has been pulled early in some games where he could have had a "quality start" as far as runs allowed is concerned.

Just think, board scapegoat Gibson, is practically an All-Star compared to Berrios in 2016.

I fail to see how anyone has made Gibson a scapegoat. A scapegoat for what? He's been very poor for quite some time now.  His upside is pretty much ziltch, unlike Berrios.
