Your not thinking like MLB's marketing department. If the game has to go offworld to continue, they're already working on it.

Duh, I am such a numbskull!

That's easy, about 4 weeks after the Vikings next playoff meltdown.

Just when everyone is getting out of tre...  ahh, that's being too cynical.

And as another interminable season of Twins futility winds to a close, my patience for even the between-innings commercials wears thin. As much as I like Paul Giamatti, for example, I am no longer able to watch the satellite TV commercial in which he utters the phrase "set top box" in such a way that it sounds EXACTLY like the aliens in Mars Attacks! saying "Ack! Ack! Ack!".

When do pitchers and catchers report?

Is it an actual league rule we have to have pitchers and catchers? Couldn't we just fill the rest of the roster with more 1B/corner guys?

They will never report again. Dozier hit his 40th home run. You liked my post, but failed too take in the information I put forward. The earth will end now. There is no longer a reason for it to exist.

And in honor of BD phenomenal season of power, he chose to hit it with the bases empty!

I mean, that worked so well this season.

What do you know. MLB.com has finally wrote up an article about the Twins.

I hope he get's five more jacks!

Hornsby, as awful of a person that he was, is a baseball legend. Davey Johnson had an anomaly season, but is a great baseball guy with his contributions to the game.

Get after it Dozier!

Clearly, they were playing out of position. It's okay, that role isn't for everyone.

Could we be onto something here? So our pitchers are in name only, and they don't hit either. So we load up on big beefy long ball guys, like one of them All World slow pitch teams, and we go for the 28-23 win. If you can't beat em, beat em! :)

We're either onto something, or on something! :)

Omg, I just got to the called third strike on Maybin. And D/B lauding Kurt for pulling the ball up. There must have been another memo from the public relations dept. A friend of mine who umped a lot told me when a catcher would pull a ball and question the call, he would ask the catcher, "if the pitch was so good, why'd you pull it 4 inches"? Normally that ended the conversation?

Reminds me of one of my favorite NotGraphs articles. Hilarious.
