If Edmonds gets in, Lofton needs to get in.

 

Lofton should be there 10 times before Edmonds.

 

Of course, I also think Andruw Jones would be more appropriate for the true heart of what the Hall of Fame is than Jim Edmonds.

Edmonds was an awesome defensive CF who ended up with an OPS in the .900s. 64.5 WAR.

Lofton (who also deserves to be in) 62.4 WAR.

 

Not sure what the negative for Edmonds would be or why Lofton would be 10 times more deserving.

Edmonds wRC+ 132.

 

Lofton's UZR: -4.9.

Edmonds UZR: 19.9.
