I have to admit, that was awesome...walking Kepler to get to Sano? Talk about picking your poison.

I can't remember a similar situation for the Twins since Mauer led to Morneau like 6 or 7 years ago.

Shameless plug:  We're at the point where we have more game thread posters than games...don't get left out!!1!

 

And it's pretty clear to me the threads will only get more and more popular as the Twins go undefeated for August, scoring double digit runs in every game.

My wife and I spent New Year's Eve and Day in Munich in the mid-90's. What we found was all the major Public Houses were reserved for private parties.

We bought food and drink to bring back to our hotel at the train station, which we promptly dubbed 'BahnhofDale.'

They have a one day a year in Germany where married women (single too, actually) go downtown for flirting (and maybe more). If you are wearing a tie, you are available to participate.  If a woman comes up and cuts your tie, you're getting some kissing time (and maybe more).

My MLB TV game just somehow switched to the Reds and cards. Yet, I still inexplicably have the audio of Dick and Roy calling our game.

Big circus in town in Tucson this week, and wouldn't you know it, a huge fire broke out.  It's been all over the news.

 

Apparently, it was in tents.

I was wondering if anybody else noticed that the Twins feed had switched to a different game entirely - after a really close up perspective of a foul pole, looking upwards, for five minutes....

OK. Its back now. How strange. Not strange that there is a technical hiccup, but strange that the fallback is just switching the video feed.

Yeah I switched to the Cleveland broadcast. Works, but the announcers aren't too happy
