Why is Brad Pitt in the Icon for the Game thread. Is it because he portrayed Billy Beane in "Moneyball" and the Twins are currently without a GM. Or is that coincidence and that is someone's member picture?

Someone really needs to get him a GPS so he doesn't wander off and get lost. But then again, I'm not sure a man of his age could figure out how to work it.

MLB.tv must have been reading our game thread on hangovers. Because between innings, they had an ad for Goose Island IPA, an ad for Budweiser, and another ad for Goose Island.

I posted this today on the back end of the Max Kepler thread, thought I'd repost it here where someone will actually read it. Perhaps many of you know this already, but I didn't.

 

We can thank Andy Johnson, the Twins Norway-based scout, for first noticing Kepler. Good article from 2009 which I don't remember reading. 14-15 other teams flew over to Germany to see him. Seems the Twins development plan shone above the others.
