Neumann: Why Buxton is poised for greatness

Thomas Neumann of ESPN.com wroe a really good article on why so many are so high on Byron Buxton. The emphasis is the tools and the work ethic, but also on character.

That was a really nice article. His high character just adds an extra level to me rooting for him to be a great player.

 

The comments on espn were (as to be expected) mostly bashing the author to have the gall to compare him to Mike Trout.

Going for a Trout comparison just begs to be ridiculed. I'm fine with anointing Buxton as the next Willie Mays and leaving it at that.
