If he goes on the '1-level-per-year' plan, and starts next year in low-A,  Hicks will be a FA, and Rosario in his second year of arbitration!

By analogy, neither Span nor Revere were with the Twins long enough to block Wade (at the pace indicated).

A lot different scenarios and team needs under which the Twins will operate by then.  (And I tend to doubt Terry will be calling the day to day shots by that point in time.) And if Wade ends up on the developmental slow train- then he's likely to be passed by better prospects elsewhere in the system-  for example- not all of their hot SS prospects are going to stay at the position.

Would someone named Jane be willing to marry someone with the last name of Doe?

...and have a child named John?

I am interested in hearing from the catching prospects, both about their games and about the pitchers they have caught. Is it hard to help guys prep when you've not worked with them before? What's a day like when they aren't catching? And the typical stuff about their progress.

Mostly, ahead of time, I want to thank the Twins and the players for interacting with us through this site.

Potential phenom Brandon Poulson.  What is he doing to improve his control and develop an offspeed pitch?

I swear I've seen Poulson throw more often this year than the Twins scouts have, he pitched at least once a weekend in ExtSp, GCL, and now Instructs. He's throwing pretty much 90+% FB with velocity 90-96mph avg 93mph, he's having difficulty controlling it.  The slider is his breaking ball and he can throw it 87mph but its usually a ball.  The octane thrower in camp now is 6'8 Johan Quezada who hits 98-99mph regularly, he's wild just not as much as Poulson.
