Arcia and Rosario

If he's failing already (can't hit when he plays everyday), do we care if he's not playing every day?

Myself, Im more worried about the Twins 2015 W-L record anyway than the small chance a hundred less PAs sets up Arcia for failure.

The severity of the Sano injury changes the equation, but I wasn't convinced that Arica helped the team's W-L record in the immediate future more as a bench player than Robinson.

If Sano is out for a while, makes much more sense to have Arcia up as the DH.

This may be his last rodeo. I certainly feel we will need him at some point in time this year, but since his future with our favorite team, may well at a crossroad, I'm content to defer to those who see him play every day. I'm not uncertain it's not at least partially his glove, that's holding him up.

To belabor a point...or beat a dead horse...or make a pest of myself...if it's his last rodeo, then what do we care if he is getting everyday play in Rochester, or a few PAs a week in Minnesota?

If it's his last rodeo then yes I care that he is playing everyday.  If he is playing everyday then he is sharp when an injury happens and he gets called up and he is more likely to be successful.  I would wait 3-4 weeks and see if an injury opens up a spot.  Sano's injury might have done that solving this dilemna.

No, I'm worried that Arcia can't consistently hit when he plays everyday.  I think he is set up to fail getting 6-8 PA's/wk.  I would try to set prospects up to succeed.

and that's it. He's not a prospect anymore. young, sure, and has had some serious power at the bigs. but he is not a prospect, and not a good fielder. I would like to see Arcia on the bench bat/4th outfielder

the only way it makes sense to bring up Arcia to the OF is if you are going to platoon Hunter and Arcia,if not the at bats won't be there.

He likely will be up with the Sano injury though, even if Sano isn't on the DL, the twins should use this as a good time to cut Nunez or send May down to AAA to stretch him out.
