Is Trey Vavra a legit prospect?

Dude is clearly tearing it up with the bat, my understanding is he isn't a real asset in the field, but if you are hitting .900+ OPS that isn't a concern.

My question to you guys who follow the minors is just how good of a prospect is vavra at this point? Top 15? 20? Top ten in any org that isn't the twins?

A while back Jesse over at Twinkie Town said something about him breaking into the top 50 if he continued as he has been doing. If there is turnover on the Twins roster that allows more prospect to be in the majors and thus no longer be prospects, then he should move up the lists.

.944 OPS, .406 OBP, leading power hitter on a low power team, but essentially a 3/1 K/BB.  He's a guy to follow, but I need to see this carry through to Fort Myers. He rolls this through Fort Myers, he's a guy that gets some attention.

He is old for the level he is at and last year the older Garver and Kanzler pretty much tore it up in A ball and both are struggling at High A so it is hard to say what the Twins have in Trey right now.

His approach seems solid and he has some power and I think he is going to continue to be a good hitter as he moves up but strange things happen from promotion to promotion so who knows.  I agree with limestone give him another level and we'll have a better idea of his prospect status.
