Thanks - not much to take away, but fun to look at.  We struck out with Morales, but it not because he was not good, he just was not a player last year for us or anyone else.   JJ Hardy is on the bottom of this list but the top of dumb decisions on this list.  The last note would be that I would rather Mauer had gone to CO and Morneau had stayed at first for us.

Bingo! Kind of nailed it here.

Liked the Morales signing even though it didn't work out. With a youth movement afoot, and the potential of Vargas, I don't think I'd take him back if I could.

Hindsight is 20/20, and this is NOT some shot towards Mauer, but considering what he has done since leaving, and all the time and patience the Twins invested post concussion, how much different might things look like in the lineup if the Twins had given Morneau that ONE MORE SHOT?

JJ Hardy just came back from a long injury.  Collabelo and Valencia are bench players.

Never understood why the Twins let Solarte go for nothing after a .329/.367/.466 season in AA as a 23 year old.  At least he could had performed the Nunez role with a better bat an better glove (unlike Nunez who can play a below average SS, Solarte is an emergency SS, but the Twins have  Escobar and Santana already.)

Chris Colabello is smashing the ball.

Denard Span is just playing his game.

Justin Morneau was convinced he could not hit at Target field.

Good thing we sold high on Ortiz.  Really dodged a bullet there.

I was hopeful that Kendrys would be fine despite missing spring training and the first 2+ months of the season but he never shook off the rust last year.  It was a solid move that only cost the team money.
