Not to be the Debbie downer, but Meyer has had 1 good start after 2 really bad ones. I think it's a bit premature to ask who he is going to replace and when.

"A bit premature." Why?  Meyer's replacing someone on the way to being groomed to be a front-end starter, and when, was the whole reason that Terry Ryan traded his starting CF for him way back in 2012.  He's gone through every minor league level and is now repeating AAA, of course we should all be speculating the who and when questions.

Yes, and he will have another bad game someday.

I think that both sides have made valid arguments about whether Meyer should be called up now.  Personally, I would like to see Meyer come up for a spot start in order to minimize the pressure on him in his first MLB appearance.

Does anyone have Tonya Hardings number?

I agree with the valid arguments and it would be nice to get a spot start or even a game in long relief.

The issue for me is is he repeating his mechanics.  If he is, the control should not be a huge issue and his stuff thrown near the plate could be devastating. I would like to see about three starts in a row without spurts of a ton of BB's.

???  Walker is 23 and posting a .308 OBP in AA.  When Arcia was 23 he had already lost his rookie status.  There's no comparison between the two.  Arcia is a good ML hitter, who could become really good, and Walker probably doesn't make the majors.  (But this is way off topic).

So far this season he isn't and he's regressing, not progressing. He looks lost at the plate and he has been awful in the field.

He's also been a bit unlucky.  If his krate stays at 20%, he'll be fine.
