Marlins Extend Mike Redmond

The Miami Marlins announced today that they have extended manager Mike Redmond through the 2017 season. This is former Twins news, but I know many on this site believe that Redmond would be an ideal person to be the next Twins manager. 

 

Good for Mr. Redmond. His team had a real solid season.

As much as I hate that stadium, I pull for Redmond down there. They will be a strong team as soon as next year.

Other than the electric green all over the stadium, and the HR statue monster in CF, Miami marlins stadium is a good place for a fan to see a game. Easy to get to, ice cool AC, and a satellite Clevelander Club in CF with a pool. That might sound dumb, and maybe it is, but it's also awesome.

 

Don't hate the stadium unless you've been there to give it a chance. It's a nice place to watch a game if you can adjust to all the lime green.

 

Also, when mentioning Mike Redmond, someone has to mention naked batting practice. It's a rule.
