Platoon Verified Member Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Oswaldo might not be perfect, but he is never boring!
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 27, 2014 Author Posted September 27, 2014 Uh oh .... Sox scored. It's 3-1
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 27, 2014 Author Posted September 27, 2014 Why are there no Amish in Chicago? I assume there are not, since I have never seen one of their buggies on the Dan Ryan or Kennedy? Which brings up another sore spot........ How come they name the freeways there, I still don't know whether 290 is named after those guys, Alfred E. Neumann or the Rev Guido? There are tons of Amish in Chicago. They are all sitting at the train and bus stations waiting for their connection to other locations.
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Brian, he was shirtless.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 It gives people something to read while sitting in the traffic jam.Guy sitting in traffic jam, looking at map: "Dan Ryan." I'm on the Dan. Ryan. ... The Dan...Rye...uhn...freeway." ... thinks to self, "well that didn't take up much time. Here I still sit."

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Late-season game thread starting fatigue to slow brian down? He actually allowed a post sneak in between a Chicago traffic reference and this.Just one cup of coffee today.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Just one cup of coffee today.Me too, but luckily the cup was the approximate size and weight of a goldfish bowl. On the way home tonight certain stars seemed to be in a very unusual alignment, but a quick check of the box score revealed that it was probably due to it being a night where Vargas drew a walk. Kidding aside, it's nice to see (well, hear and then see in the box score) the Twins show some power tonight, especially when the Tigers' season is on the line. Almost makes up for missing out on a game thread about body hair and what happened on the kayak.

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 27, 2014 Author Posted September 27, 2014 And it's a WINNAH for KC and they have just now clinched a playoff spot
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 I am way behind on the TIVO, but I think it could be said that this could have been the end of Swarzack as a starter? It could have been the end of Swarzak as a Twin. Not because this start didn't go well, but because it means he won't pitch again this year, and his future as a Twins reliever has been in doubt due to his impending arb payday and the number of younger, cheaper, higher upside alternatives the Twins believe and we hope are on the way.

LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Alice... The Mad Hatter and the March Hare were also at the party.Wanted to ask her about that, but her intimidating height made me reconsider.
