Use mayonnaise as the dressing and sprinkle in some bacon bits, and you basically have a BLT if you include croutons.

That's what I'm saying... I just had a salad sandwich. Cuz of the croutons.

Bacon Bits... Was neglected... Now I'm disappointed.

Burns: "You!  Strawberry!  Hit a home run!".

Strawberry hits a homer.

Burns:  "I told him to that!"

Smithers:  "Brilliant strategy, sir."

That's kind of like when you're completely full at OC Buffet and starting to think about laying down on the floor with your sweat pants untied, and somebody at your table shows up with the most tempting dessert ever, which you missed but now will make the whole experience seem like a mistake.

When asked about the roots of his divorce, Mr. Bombo replied, "it's a complete mystery to me."

They call this the Carlos Silva/Sidney Ponson experience.

My parents basically cured me of the want of soda for life by buying only generic Holiday gas station stuff.

I always leave restaurants saying... Damn it... No dessert again.

You'd think I'd learn... Save room... Desserts are tasty... Save room...

But nope... I always leave restaurants saying... Damn it... No dessert again

I had the opportunity to shake hand with Jim once.

At a Buffet, always eat dessert first, in case a big rock falls from the sky and destroys the restaurant in the next few minutes.  You might survive, but you don't want to be saying "Damn it... No dessert again" again.

Some day soon I'm hoping to see a thread with a discussion of a new reality show whose premier features a biathlon of competitive eating and sumo wrestling (in that order) between Ponson and Livan Hernandez.

I grew up on that stuff too. And coincidentally, I don't drink sodas now. I didn't know!

One of the childhood gripes my brother always brings up is that not only did Mom buy Big-K cola, but she split the bottle among us 3 kids.

The can was ugly, the taste was bad, and it still came in cans that needed an opener even after push tabs replaced pull tabs.  It's almost as if they knew it was bad and were trying to warn people away.

The almost comeback.  Even in yet another year where my investment in wins and losses is pretty low, none of the analogies that spring to mind are likely to meet TD posting standards.
