JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 JB, my dad is 87. And a half. My dad never made it that far so cherish every day. It is interesting to see all these 80 and 90 somethings. I live in a small town (pop. just a little over 600). This week we have both a 95-year birthday and a 99-year one.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 Mr. Morales is not getting me many points in "pick the stick" this series. Hmmmm....
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 I'm sure you'll get a better diagnosis than the internet one! Good luck.Lol. Although when I had tennis elbow, the ortho doc wasn't sure that's what it was, said it might be RTS. Then went on to say that he'd give me a cortisone shot anyway and if that didn't work we'd talk surgical options. I'm like 'wtf.' Doesn't know what it is and wants to do surgery? So I went to the internet, looked up RTS, which is often diagnosed as tennis elbow but isn't, and came up with my own treatment plan and took it back to my GP who signed off on it.

Well, diagnosis is an art not always a science. And some docs are more artful than others.

His sister just passed away this past October, 2 months after her 100th birthday.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 Well, Perk gets in 2 games in a row after being absent for a week.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 Double crap. I do not like Konerko in this situation.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 Might be time to switch back to FSN.
longstrangetrip Verified Member Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 Double crap. I do not like Konerko in this situation. I know, somehow the single feels like we dodged a bullet
longstrangetrip Verified Member Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 Might be time to switch back to FSN. Ha! I have to admit I do that...switch stations to change up the luck. Sometimes I really believe it.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 Triple crap Yeah, not the ideal 9th inning so far. But not the end of the world either... It was good to have an insurance run this time.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 The official scorer has committed two errors in the past inning.

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 I can't listen to Hawk just now.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 Not liking this, at all.Who is?
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 Damn it. It never comes easy.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 I can't listen to Hawk just now. He seems less annoying than usual, given how annoying he is.
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 I just got in. This is not looking good.
longstrangetrip Verified Member Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 It's a shame that Willy didn't catch that ball, but most of this is on Perk. Bert is right...he never leaves the ball up as much as he is tonight. How bout a 6-4-3 for Gillespie
jorgenswest Verified Member Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 Imagine how bad it would be if he had Pinto behind the plate.
longstrangetrip Verified Member Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 Can I change my prediction to 4-6-3? Great DP!
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 Nice turn by Danny boy, hell of a play by Dozier.
