Oh, i learned to jump off before the end in those instances... But your lesson is good to learn too. And i was always envious of Mary Poppins' ability to slide up too.

Can keep you Soprano.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 "The way baseball is supposed be watched" by Sample Size -Two decades after the best seller "My Feet Hurt". Sample Size returns with the brilliantly penned "The way baseball is supposed to be watched" The naritive is set in motion by an overly friendly Dennis DeYoung of the band Styx who befriends a young couple and follows them around everywhere they go, leading to misunderstandings and important life lessons. Ah, I'm still proud of "My Feet Hurt." It was inspired by the song Tai Kwan Leap. Alas, i haven't been able to find a publisher for this new baseball novel. I think i'll have to rework somewhat if it is to be appreciated by the general public...
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 I'm a fan of Parms, but why does a guy who's 0-fer the season batting with RISP continue to hit cleanup?
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 8th XBH of the year for JoeMo That's 2 games in a row, and 2 of the last 3 hits. Maybe he's improving?
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 One players has 14 doubles on the season the other has 5. One is Joe Mauer, the other is Eduardo Escobar.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 That's 2 games in a row, and 2 of the last 3 hits. Maybe he's improving? He's put enough of them out there, a few were bound to find the ground at some point.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Kubel .........why? Someone remind me.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Author Posted May 25, 2014 I'm a fan of Parms, but why does a guy who's 0-fer the season batting with RISP continue to hit cleanup? And Arcia and Hammer will be here Monday.
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 He's put enough of them out there, a few were bound to find the ground at some point. This season hasn't been the JM we're accustomed to. Is his back still injured? Still learning 1b?There's still time for Joe to come back, but man!
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Kubel .........why? Someone remind me.See RB...
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Author Posted May 25, 2014 Kubel .........why? Someone remind me. He's only player on the roster who faced National League Guys... He's left handed and his name is easier to spell than Colabello
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 And Arcia and Hammer will be here Monday.True enough, but how about some lineup creativity?
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 He's only player on the roster who faced National League Guys... He's left handed and his name is easier to spell than ColabelloAnd Arcia and Willingham are still rehabbing
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 He's only player on the roster who faced National League Guys... He's left handed and his name is easier to spell than ColabelloNot enough.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Author Posted May 25, 2014 Not enough. Ok... Ummm.... He's visits Children's Hospitals weekly. He does a Ventriloquism act where you can clearly see his lips move.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Ok... Ummm.... He's visits Children's Hospitals weekly. He does a Ventriloquism act where you can clearly see his lips move.I wonder if his dummy could hit better? Someone check on his options.
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 55 pitches thru 4 innings for Deduno. Does he have the sink on the FB today? Looks like more grounders hit. He might go 6 tonight.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 This Deduno fellow is pretty ok.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Author Posted May 25, 2014 The sink isn't pronounced as usual... but it's there.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 One players has 14 doubles on the season the other has 5. One is Joe Mauer, the other is Eduardo Escobar. So Mauer hits 7th?
Whammy Verified Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Hey.... Hicks decided to finally swing the bat on the 10th pitch he saw today.
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 So Mauer hits 7th?What do you do with the guy?
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 What do you do with the guy? Swap him with Dozier?
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 I wonder if his dummy could hit better? Someone check on his options. Perhaps he could swing the dummy... All joking aside, he could still connect. Plenty of baseball left tonight.
