Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Btw...if pinto is on second yesterday...does he score? I'm not sure... I've noticed that Suzuki actually has decent wheels.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Bill James, on A's 3b Carney Lansford's defense at the end of his career: "Steady as the Rock of Gibraltar, with about the same range". Exactly how do you go through life with the name Carney?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Exactly how do you go through life with the name Carney? I just looked it up Carney is of Irish Origin and it means warlike. It is reduced from McCarney which means McWarlike
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Exactly how do you go through life with the name Carney? How do you have parents who pick the name Carney. And then pair it with Ray. At least per Bref, Carney Ray Lansford .... especially when born in the 50's but then he was a Cali boy.

The Middle name was going to be "Val" edit: JB and I were on the Carnival page.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Game just flying by .... let's slow it down a bit in this 1/2 inning, Twins.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 He got lucky... The Middle name was going to be "Val" At least his last name wasn't Valjean.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Gibson is settling down now, but it's safe to say Hughes has assumed the mantle of team ace.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 at least his last name wasn't valjean. lol
Twins Twerp Provisional Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Hey. Marc...whos passive now mofo?

LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Exactly how do you go through life with the name Carney?By not having 'Rat' as your last name? And probably by growing up and playing in California.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Atta Boy Hicks and Atta Boy Escobar.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Can't complain about a lead off double... I can think of a few who would.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Can't complain about a lead off double... That sounds like a challenge for some of our TD faithful.

Really hope good pitching starts feeding off each other. Time for some warm weather for Nolasco and for Deduno to settle in. 5th spot -- up for grabs.
Twins Twerp Provisional Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Suzuki does have plus wheels...for a catcher. Ets lock this guy up for at least next year. He is great and if he goes into a doumit-like slump...he still has average/average plus defensive value...thanks tr/jr
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Uh oh... Dozie's homers to doubles ratio dropping fast...
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 I can think of a few who would. Ok to mention me by name. No such thing as bad publicity...http://hillnholler.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/ed-wood-and-bella-lugosi.jpg

Twins Twerp Provisional Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 When does plouffes streak turn into a stellar player. I think he might be around for awhile and Sano can take his time...effing great problem to have?
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Plouffe might be using voodoo to steal doubles from Dozie. Anybody checked his locker lately for a Jobu doll?
Twins Twerp Provisional Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 P.s. Rick weights last stand against the sioux was history making

And it's hard for me because he was really disappointing me for awhile. If he keeps up this plate discipline thing. He's gonna be nice to keep around with Sano.
