Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Next time I'm in the neighborhood, I will stop by. Sounds like a great place, and the Groveland Tap is one of my favorite places in the metro.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 I have yet to check it out but have been trying to convince the wife to head over there and check out that $1000 burger. It'll happen. Soon.
Nick Nelson Site Manager Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 I haven't been in yet either but I'm always looking for a new pre/post-game haunt and will most likely be stopping in before or after my next game.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Blue Plate are buddies of mine. Maybe I could hook us up for a deal.
Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 I'm one who likes to get into the gates as soon as possible before a game, so it'll be good to have a place there to grab some food. Sounds great!!
Heimer Provisional Member Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Food sounds awesome! Do you guys know of any good dives around the park? My Dad doesn't care for Sneaky Petes ha.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 $1000 burger sounds a bit expensive.

Nobody likes Sneaky Pete's. Not even Pete. Try Cuzzy's. You'll go into the stadium using a different gate, but that dive bar is friendly and not skeezy like Stinky Pete's with the strip club on top. If you want a less divey dive, try Darby's.

Yes, Darby's is kind of a high-end dive. Nothing quite like drinking beer in an alley before the game.
