Assuming Sano and Buxton are off the table, and with Rasario in the penalty box, has anyone offered say a list of our top 5 prospects as viable trade chips?
Monday marks the kickoff of the Winter Meetings in Orlando, Florida (aka: a convenient holiday for baseball executives and their families). Naturally, as the Twins do their part at the Winter Meetings for the next four days, they may make time to have a little fun in the Happiest Place on Earth That is Also a Festering Swamp. But the attractions they see may have extra ramifications on their plans for the next four days. Here we present the possible outcomes of how what they see and could manife

There are some benefits to Minnesota's finish near the bottom of the AL for the third straight year. Later this week, the Twins will have a top five pick in this year's Rule 5 Draft. For those not familiar, the Rule 5 Draft allows MLB teams to claim players not protected by their parent club on the team's 40-man roster. There obviously some rules to this process. With the Winter Meetings looming and the Twins having already made some impressive moves, one player who intrigues me is Danny Espinosa of the Nats. A 2b/ss who has kinda fell out of favor in the Nats organization. The Twins could use some help in the MI and Espinosa might be had for a minimal price. He strikes out to much and has a low BA. But he has 4 years of team control, is a switch-hitter, has really good pop, and a pretty good defensive player at both 2b/ss. He was a highly touted prospec
What about grabbing Mark Reynolds for a 1 year deal? Worked pretty well for Cleveland last year. It could both push Trevor until Sano is up and give Mauer some DH days/days off at 1st, plus be another non AAA bench option for Gardy. What would it cost and would you do it?
This off-season has been a crazy one. A lot of the big name free agents are already off the board and we're not even at the winter meetings yet. What has also been interesting is the amount of significant trades that have been made. Trades are, by far, the most interesting transaction in any sport. There are usually winners and losers, and they are often fun to discuss and breakdown. For trades to happen, a lot of things have to come together. Supply and demand, the amount of money being excha

One of the benefits of being a bad team for multiple seasons is the fact the Twins have been able to replenish some of their farm system with high draft picks the last two years. Add these players into a group that already included some top-notch talent and the future of the Twins organization continues to look bright. Throughout the offseason there will be plenty of prospect lists released by a variety of media outlets. There are always differences between how people view the particular talen
I am not a follower of Donald Trump. I have participated in several no kings rallies and am disgusted with what he and his followers have done to our country and the world. I would like to know what most Brazilians feel about the United States now and about the folks our citizens have elected to represent us.
