  1. Which might point more to the losses of bench coach Derek Shelton and hitting coach James Rowson.
  2. You don't have to manage homeruns.
  3. I guess if you want to subscribe you can actually read it.
  4. Yeah sure, blow the shutout. Even Twin's wins get frustrating.
  5. Yes, how different would this team look? I thought Minky was going to be the next Twins manager until, well, you know. Love me some Jim Kaat in the booth though. Still one of my favorite people and baseball man with a mic.
  6. Now if we could just do it.
  7. I think the most common out come for the Twins this year with runners in scoring position and one out = the strikeout. No runners get moved and now there are two outs. Rally killers.
  8. Putting squirrels down your pants is always a gamble.
  9. That moment just occurred.
  10. Bobby Darwin was a fun player to root for in the early 70's. Converted Dodger pitcher to outfielder. Could hit 25 homers, drive in some runs. Played an almost adequate CF but mostly was the right fielder 1972-75 before being traded to the Brewers for Johnny Briggs. Kind of a long swing (lead the AL in strikeouts 3 straight years) but when he timed one, "Boom."
  11. Yeah, I think we should just sign guys who are going to play well. ?
  12. Falvey and Levine get a temporary pass due to the shutdown; makes it really hard to evaluate players when they aren't playing. Rocco . . . not so much.
  13. Killebrew (62-64), then Jacque Jones (2000-03), then Bob Allison (65-69). Honorable mention to Danny Gladden and Eddie Rosario. I liked the outfield of Bob Allison (lf), Jimmie Hall (cf) and Tony Oliva (rf).
  14. I thought Beau Burroughs (Kevin Costner) was the guy who bonked all the family Huttinger women who the Mrs. Robinson song was supposedly based on. ? (Ya ya, different spelling, I know.)
  15. So is Gordon getting reps at SS out of the question these days?
  16. Twins also signed Kyle Barraclough who could be a bullpen piece. He's a bit wild but does limit hard contact.
  17. So we got nothing for Lamonte Wade Jr. Bummer.
