I think I'd like to keep DH as free from additional commitment as possible. This team has a half dozen guys who may need that slot for various reasons already.

Could be the Twins are waiting the Dozier situation out first to see how much SP depth (LOL, yes I just typed that!) the team has. I'd move him regardless but perhaps in the Twins eyes they'd prefer to keep him if they don't get the ready-made arm(s) from the Dodgers they want.

I guess if Kamara is the guy you like, I'd be looking at it that he's likely to go at least round later than expected, most RB tend to. Just looking for more info on this guy, I don't see him in any mocks in round 2. CBS Sports has him projected as a 5th round back. Outside of the 1st round I don't like to focus on 1 player either.

Are you referencing Le'Veon Bell specifally or is there other precedence you have in mind? Because looking back through the past drafts, it looks like you can get a good RB in rounds 3-5 just as easily as round 2. It seems to me that lately, unless there is a true clear stud, RBs tend to get taken at least a round later than most people expected. Most tend to drop even further. I wouldn't want the Vikings being the only team reaching for a RB, particularly when they don't have a 1st round pick and lots of holes. Also, I want this team to transition away from being a run heavy team.

Had Mussina wanted the 300 wins he would have gotten it. He was only 30 shy and only 39-years-old. I think the baseball community pretty rightfully recognized that Blyleven had been an overlooked pitcher so I don't know why you would look at either of these pitchers and say they shouldn't be in because they weren't as good as Blyleven. After Clemens, Mussina and Schilling are the highest pitchers in terms of WAR that aren't in the HOF. I think Mussina is pretty close to a lock to get in eventually, he was top 6 in Cy Young voting 9 times and one of the best fielding pitchers ever. If Schilling doesn't make it, it likely will have more to do with him being a lunatic. Not that I think that should necessarily keep him out, but it's not going to help him.

I'm all for drafting a RB, but I don't like to do that early. Seems to me that is the position where success is most independent of where a guy is drafted. Unless you're talking about one of the clearly elite guys who tend to go top 5 or so. Also, assuming Bridgewater isn't ready next year; if the Vikings aren't comfortable with Taylor Heinike as Bradford's backup and feel the need to sign another vet, I'd rather they just cut Heinike and find another young QB for the 3rd spot. I'd really like this team to try to keep trying to find a project QB that could potentially steal the starting gig or be flipped someday. Even if it only rarely works out I think it's worth the effort. If it's clear Heinike isn't capable next year, he's probably never going to be, try again.

That wasn't your issue you listed above. You said you were concerned about uniform posting policy application. You had two offending posts in 20 minutes despite getting a warning personally and a warning in the thread after the first one. I'm quite confident you understand that the severity of the second infraction was entirely due to your utter disregard of your first infraction. You're not getting the same penalty again if the first one gave you no pause to follow posting policies. There was no comparable offense because nobody else flouted the warnings and no one else had two violations in succession. We're glad you posted your question here but your concerns have been discussed and explained from every angle you have thought of so far. You can probably find more angles or repeat the previous ones if you are looking to continue this topic indefinitely, but at this point I feel confident that the moderators have sufficiently provided you reasonable explanations to your question so don't get frustrated if further responses on this subject are not directly replied to.

Considering Molitor's contract is up after this year, the team is rebuilding and likely to lose a lot of games and they just hired a new GM, I'd bet Quade, Mauer and Mientkiewicz are all quite eager to stick it out with the organization through this season. All would have a valid resume should the top spot at the MLB level open up. Not that most of us won't be screaming for an "outside voice"

Perhaps he doubts his secondary pitches but he shouldn't and I'm not sure that's the case. I have a hard time thinking of Gibson without getting frustrated with this direct quote he gave to Fangraphs: “I have this debate with Glen quite a bit: How effective an out on two or three pitches is as opposed to a strikeout. For me, a soft ground ball is just as effective if it’s within the first two or three pitches. If I’m able to keep my hard contact rate low, ground balls are almost automatic outs for me. “When hitters puts balls in play, they’re going to get a hit sooner or later. But if I get five ground balls in a row, I’m more than likely going to get out of the inning. Offensive numbers will tell you that. All teams have holes and I wouldn't try to claim the Dodgers can't compete with some or lots of holes. But typically filling weak spots is what teams do to try to improve and Dozier covers a lot of them. They can walk away, but there's a reason why everyone, including those without a vested interest continue to say Dozier is the best fit for the Dodgers.

The Dodgers need a 2B, they need right handed power and they need a guy who can hit at the top of the lineup. So is it going to be easier to address those problems with one player? Or with three different players? I'm not sure what will happen here, but this off season a team has to overpay and give up awfully uncomfortable prospects to get what it wants, I don't know why the Dodgers would be the exception. The Dodgers can try to spin this any way they want, but only one of the teams involved is trying to win right now, the only desperation from the Twins side is our posters (me included) who are simply anxious for some action this offseason because we likely won't be getting any this summer.
