  1. I think Wallner may have competition at that spot from Rodriguez. I think Emma will also be a better outfielder to substitute in than Wallner.
  2. Keaschall hasn't had a lot of game time experience at any position in the minors or majors. He was drafted in '23 and played 24 games at second base. In '24 he played 39 games in the field while he was held out or playing dh until he had arm surgery. In '25 he got 41 games at 2nd and no outfield time. 26 became the first year that he has gotten time as a professional in the field. The team needs to figure out where they want him to play and get him time in that spot(s). I think based on nothing that his best position turns out to be left field. If they can train pitchers why can't they train others to throw better?
  3. I think the starting infield for most of next season is going to be Lewis 1B, Lee. 2B, Culpepper 3B and Houston at SS. I'd prefer that Lewis stayed at first base the rest of this year to get as much in game practice as possible. Between Houston and Culpepper watching the majors and minors, Houston is pretty clearly the better shortstop and that may not be fair to Culpepper. It'll take the next year and a half to get a real good feel for how that infield is going together.
  4. If the Twins actually make the playoffs, which at this point I kind of doubt it, I hope that Mick Able is able to pitch in the playoffs. If Ryan ever recovers I might include him in the rotation. But if he continues as is, I would look for Bradley, Able, Prielipp & Rojas for playoff starts.
  5. Keaschall's ultimate position seems unknown currently, but I guess its down to any outfield spot plus second and first base. I still think he should bat first ultimately.
  6. I think it is because he won't have much available playing time for the Saints as opposed to the Wind Surge.
  7. I'm surprised that ERod made it to #31 on the Law's list, only 10 places below both Lackey and Jenkins. As Rodriguez battles another year of injuries, there have been many on this site who would prefer that he is thrown in the trash can. I've always preferred that he is elevated to the Twins right field role as soon as he is healthy.
  8. I don't think I would make a trade that wasn't geared towards making this a better team next year and 2028. That doesn't mean they can't get better this year. But I think the whole focus the past year has been on making 2026 a skip year. Just so happens that the players have been better as a team then anyone thought.
  9. Hopefully he is playing at the depth that the coaching department told him to play. He is not Buxton and probably never will be.
  10. I would take a real good starting catcher for the next 10-12 years, middle of the order bat and 5-6 all star games.
  11. If I am the owner, then I know that this is not the Twins year. The best way to get closer would be to trade Ryan, along with Jeffers, Bell, Larnich and several others. I would hope I get a Bradley and Able or better for Ryan in a trade. It may take a 3 team trade to make it happen, but that is Zoll's job.
  12. Zoll isn't the problem, neither was Flavinoid. The problem is still there in the ivory tower.
  13. Recently, I've been looking at the Twins system wide pitching. The pitching looks wretched. If they could trade some excess outfielders for pitching, it might help alot. The pitching looked good at the end of 2025, but I think they brought up everyone that could help, or they all got injured. With Ryan and Lopez possibly leaving by the end of 2027 they are going to really short handed.
  14. I'm hoping that by September it won't matter. If Culpepper and Jenkins get called up sometime in August (or sooner) then maybe Lackey gets the number 1 billing.
  15. Looks like a future (and not to distant future) late inning reliever. Set that as a target for this guy and he may be the 8th/9th inning reliever they need.
  16. To sum it up, it seems he is definitely not a major league fielder and not a very good major league hitter. He is 28 and playing at 3A with a high strikeout rate and low walk rate. The Twins have 7 other outfielders for then spot he plays. I think I got it.
  17. The pitching staff is ridiculously short handed. To start with I couldn't figure out why there were only 4 pitchers on the list counting both starters and relievers. After looking at the roster and results for the month all the starters answering the bell could have been included and the 2 healthy relievers not giving up a run per inning or more were included. Hopefully the Allstar break gives some of these guys a good opportunity to rest.
  18. You do know that the minor league outfielders you mentioned have all been injured most of the year?
  19. I hope Cholowski is available at #3. But who ever it is I am mostly hoping they don't spend most of their first 3 years in the Twins system on the injured list.
  20. I'd do the same as last year and trade our top 5 bullpen arms.🤫 Anybody know who that is? Winning a division by 2 games over 500(at best) doesn't exactly thrill me much, unless you enjoy watching the team getting its teeth kicked in. I'd trade or attempt to trade the same players already addressed by others here. Although with Wallner if he can't hit anything over 95 any more, I might plan on cutting him after the season. No reason to give away players for nothing, if the offers just aren't there. I've been watching bad baseball long enough, I'd prefer to see the team try to improve as much as possible by deadline trades and bringing in rookies the last 2 months of the year. Another year of just scraping by doesn't really do it for me.
  21. Morris, Raya, Banda, Sands, Gomez, Orze, Klein, Paredes, and Culpepper looks like the group of names for next years bullpen at this point. Raya might as well be moved to the Twins bullpen at least by the allstar game. I may have missed a couple of names, but they have a half season to find most of next years bullpen.
  22. With only 2 weeks until the draft, I'd set my preferred draft order. With the time it take's to develop a catcher and a pitcher, I'd lean towards the shortstops. Chowlosky "could" reach the majors the second half of next year, while I think Emerson would take at least 2 years longer.
