  2. Not sure if that's a question. Definitely a conundrum
  3. Feels premature. The numbers look good, but do they mean anything? I guess I was resigned to maybe seeing both Buxton and Sano in September, but no sooner. Did not expect to see either of them at all until 2019.

You guys crank out a lot of good content already, in season and out. 11.) Have you been to any of the Twins Daily "events?" Living in Sioux Falls, no. Would like to, but the commute is a bit steep.
  5. Here's the thing though, outside of two separate 2-8 stretches (4/12-4/26 & 6/21-7/1), they have been the definition of mediocre. Even a little over .500 at 36-32. It hasn't been pretty for the most part and the hole they've dug may be too deep. But I have no reason to believe that the roster as it currently stands cannot at least be competitive for the remaining 74 games. I know you can't take away the 4-16 that I left off and this roster is also capable of that as well. Now, this is subject to change if they sell off some valuable pieces. I hate it when the optimism starts to creep back in. Just let me be a curmudgeon or not. This yo-yo business is exhausting.
  6. In recent days (weeks), Blur-O-Vision would be the preferred viewing experience in regards to the Twins. Leaves the result open to interpretation. In a more grand sense, you are absolutely correct.

  8. LaMarre was optioned to AAA on 6/25. So, Polanco is taking Adrianza's spot.
  9. Littell started on 6/26 and it was a good one albeit getting hit around a bit. 6.2 IP, 9 Hits, 1 Walks, 2 Runs (2 Earned), and 4 strikeouts. Cumulative Chattanooga 2018 Stats:(0-3, 5.87 ERA) 5 starts, 23 IP, 28 H, 7 BB, 32 K's, 1.522 WHIP, 2.7 BB/9, 12.5 K Cumulative Rochester 2018 Stats:(1-3, 3.00 ERA) 9 appearances with 8 starts, 51 IP, 44 H, 18 BB, 47 K's, 1.216 WHIP, 3.2 BB/9, 8.3 K/9 Cumulative MLB 2018 Stats:(0-1, 18.00 ERA) 1 appearances with 1 starts, 3 IP, 6 H, 4 BB, 1 K's, 3.333 WHIP, 12.0 BB/9, 3.0 K/9 Cumulative Minors 2018 Stats: (1-6, 3.89 ERA) 14 appearances with 13 starts, 74 IP, 72 H, 25 BB, 79 K's, 1.311 WHIP, 3.0 BB/9, 9.6 K/9
  10. He's entered or is entering Rondell White territory. As with most of the lineup outside of the Ed's, they seem to be sleepwalking through the season. Which is a shame, as the pitching has been much improved.
  11. Between What on 2nd and I don't care at SS, pretty good infield.
  12. Enlow had two appearances since my last update. Both in relief with mixed results. Actually picking up a 4 inning save in his last appearance. 6/16 Line: 2.1 IP, 1 Hits, 2 Walks, 3 Runs (3 Earned), and 2 strikeouts. 6/23 Line: 4.0 IP, 2 Hits, 1 Walks, 0 Runs (0 Earned), and 4 strikeouts. Cumulative 2018 Stats:(0-2, 4.43 ERA, 1 Save) 10 appearances 8 Starts, 40.2 IP, 47 H, 18 BB, 31 K's, 1.598 WHIP, 4.0 BB/9, 6.9 K/9
  13. Littell had 1 start since my last update and it was a good one. Littell took a no decision on 6/21 with a line of: 6.2 IP, 4 Hits, 1 Walks, 0 Runs (0 Earned), and 6 strikeout. Cumulative Chattanooga 2018 Stats:(0-3, 5.87 ERA) 5 starts, 23 IP, 28 H, 7 BB, 32 K's, 1.522 WHIP, 2.7 BB/9, 12.5 K Cumulative Rochester 2018 Stats:(1-3, 3.05 ERA) 8 appearances with 7 starts, 44.1 IP, 35 H, 17 BB, 43 K's, 1.173 WHIP, 3.5 BB/9, 8.7 K/9 Cumulative MLB 2018 Stats:(0-1, 18.00 ERA) 1 appearances with 1 starts, 3 IP, 6 H, 4 BB, 1 K's, 3.333 WHIP, 12.0 BB/9, 3.0 K/9 Cumulative Minors 2018 Stats: (1-6, 4.01 ERA) 13 appearances with 12 starts, 67.1 IP, 63 H, 24 BB, 75 K's, 1.292 WHIP, 3.2 BB/9, 10.0 K/9
  14. Man, they could use a 7-0 or 6-1 week. Unfortunately, probably not going to happen. The Twins seem to play up to or down on the level of their opponent. So I'll predict that they'll go 1-2 or worse vs the White Sox, 2-1 or better vs the Brew Crew and Cubs. Keep dangling that carrot. This is how we baseball.
  15. Thats what I'm saying. Make hay vs Texas, Baltimore, Kansas City, and Tampa. Then hope to get at least 2 against the Brewers and Cubs. I have way to much optimism for how the first 70 games have gone.
  16. 14 additional wins would be needed to be .500 at the ASB. Given the upcoming schedule, I think its doable to win 10 to 14 more. I don't think its out of the question that they will be within a stones throw of .500 by July 15th.
  17. I remember posting prior to the Cleveland series that the Twins would get at least 4 out of 6 vs Cleveland and the Red Sox. So I can get my hopes up. Only to probably get 2 or worse vs the Rangers and White Sox. Here we are.
  18. My frustration with this is that even if Mauer is thrown out at home (likely) and Rosario stays at second, moving up a base doesn't really do anything to improve Rosario's chances of scoring. He'll still likely score on a base hit with 2 outs anyway.
