  1. In spectacular fashion, no less. Not really, but it's Escobar, so probably at least entertaining.
  2. My guess is so that the game is still tied at the bottom of the 9th. That and Hildenberger is presumably unavailable.
  3. Well, there will be nobody on base. Depends on how the FRE goes.
  4. Is Chris Gimenez available?
  5. C'mon Reed. Gonna need to start calling it the Addison Reed Experience
  6. http://www.reactiongifs.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/dr-evil-right.gif
  7. According to Darren Wolfson, Littell is getting the call to start one of the games in the doubleheader with the White Sox on Tuesday. https://twitter.com/DWolfsonKSTP/status/1003128229149003776
  8. Maybe they need a rainout https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cLMxmZr3S5s
  9. I'll echo what others have said, the series against Cleveland is a big one. Need to almost get 3 out of 4. A split would be ok and a sweep is too much to ask for. My glimmer of optimism is that the 2006 team was 25-33 on June 7th, 11.5 GB, and went on to win 96 games. Unfortunately, it seems that the hitting and bullpen were obviously better then. But the starting pitching seems better as a whole. Albeit without a ace. So, probably not going to win 96 games. But it's what I'm clinging to.
  10. You forgot Revere too. But he's playing in AAA right now. However, in a vacuum, all 4 of those trades were understandable. Gomez trade netted JJ Hardy. Span got the Twins Alex Meyer, a project to be fair, but a good prospect for a farm system desperate for pitching. Hicks trade got the JRM, who was coming off a decent season with the Yankees, but to be fair was a small sample size in 67 games. In the Revere trade, that got them Trevor May and Worley. May is decent when healthy. Worley on the other hand is nausea inducing. Having said all that, trading 4 MLB starting center fielders in a 4-5 year time frame is not good practice.
  11. What do they have to learn in the minors? It's sink or swim time for both of them. Both have been dominant in the minors with Buxton slashing .302/.379/.504 and Sano .278/.373/.564. They don't need to dominate a lower level again. The only way they get better is by batting against the best possible competition. Neither of them will get that in AAA.
  12. Sorry for the delay in updating Littell's games. Have been on vacation and laptop not working right, wasn't able to update from home. So here I am wasting company time. haha. Since my last update Littell had two solid starts 5/23 Line: 6.0 IP, 5 Hits, 1 Walks, 2 Runs (2 Earned), and 7 strikeouts. 5/28 Line: 6.0 IP, 6 Hits, 2 Walks, 3 Runs (3 Earned), and 6 strikeouts. Cumulative Chattanooga 2018 Stats:(0-3, 5.87 ERA) 5 starts, 23 IP, 28 H, 7 BB, 32 K's, 1.522 WHIP, 2.7 BB/9, 12.5 K Cumulative Rochester 2018 Stats:(1-1, 2.57 ERA) 5 appearances with 4 starts, 28 IP, 20 H, 10 BB, 30 K's, 1.071 WHIP, 3.2 BB/9, 9.6 K/9 Cumulative Minors 2018 Stats: (1-4, 4.06 ERA) 10 appearances with 9 starts, 51 IP, 48 H, 17 BB, 62 K's, 1.275 WHIP, 3.0 BB/9, 10.9 K/9
  13. Sorry for the delay in updates. Been on vacation and laptop is on the fritz. Since my last update, Enlow pitched on 5/24 and turned in a very good start. His line was 6 IP, 1 Hits, 4 Walks, 0 Runs (0 Earned), and 6 strikeouts. 14. His launch angle is terrible to get any sort of lift on the ball though.
  15. Well probably 6. But 4 of them are different PBS stations.
  16. Just how Falvine drew it up in February.
  17. Suppose that's a honey mead they're drinking there? Due to bears' perceived affinity for honey.
  18. Missed a update for Enlow here is how his last two starts went: Enlow started on 5/11 and 5/18: 5/11: 3.1 IP, 5 Hits, 2 Walks, 5 Runs (3 Earned), and 3 strikeouts.threw 55 pitches, 30 for strikes 5/18: 4.1 IP, 6 Hits, 0 Walks, 0 Runs (0 Earned), and 3 strikeouts.threw 44 pitches, 33 for strikes Cumulative 2018 Stats:(0-1, 4.34 ERA) 5 Starts, 18.2 IP, 28 H, 7 BB, 14 K's, 1.875 WHIP, 3.4 BB/9, 6.8 K/9, average game score-43.4
