  1. They only lost 1 out of 5 of his starts. But those 4 wins were definitely in spite of him.
  2. Love the deals. Berrios and Rosario next please.
  3. Universal DH - Yes. I don't want to see pitchers bat. But the DH is all I've known and I like dingers vs double switches and pitchers weakly grounding out 85% of the time. Pitch clock - Yes Roster size - Absolutely. Gimme Tortuga. Limiting it to 28 in September seems silly though 3 Batter minimum-Could take it or leave it.
  4. I agree with most of the list. These new home alternates, I don't love them, I don't hate them. What gets me up in arms the most is that these new home alternates come at the expense of the cream uniforms. The creams were the best.
  5. SS- Polanco LF- [L] Rosario DH- [R] Cruz 1B- [R] Cron RF- [L] Kepler 3B- [R] Sano C- [L/R] Castro/Garver 2B- [R] Schoop CF- [R] Buxton A lot of righty's at the bottom of the order versus lefty's. But would like some speed at the bottom hitting ahead of Buxton, that's why the catchers aren't hitting lower. Sano and Buxton should move up subject to performance. Lineup should mash a lot of taters though.
  6. I'd suggest using Priceline's express deals and pick downtown Minneapolis for the dates if you're not picky on what hotel you stay at. Usually can get a 3 or more star hotel within walking distance of Target Field for $100-130 or less per night, per room. That's usually what I do anyway. Ninja edit. Noticed that it was @ Detroit. Could probably do the same for Detroit, don't know the caliber of hotel you would get though. Would probably help if I read and comprehended the entire post. Sorry!
  7. Missed the article posted by Stohs. Carry on.

  9. Does Austin have any option years left? I don't think he does, but that could be a factor if he does have any left
  10. Well, neither do I. Just looking at the situation from any angle. Obviously, you hope first and foremost the Twins and Schoop play well.
  11. Could be a flip candidate if the team tanks in 2019 and performs at previous year levels. Guy was a 5.2 WAR player in 2017, still a 1.4 WAR last year in a down season.
  12. I think this is a very good buy low candidate. Hopefully 2016-early 2018 Schoop is the one that shows up.
  13. Per MLBTradeRumors: Ronald Torreyes coming to the Land of 10,000 Lakes as well. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2018/12/twins-ronald-torreyes-agree-to-one-year-deal.html
  14. Can't be much worse and this one will come cheaper.
  15. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qgET1Zhpb8 But in all seriousness, only way I do this is with a extension as well. St Paul?!?! The nickname alone is worth just about any prospect not named Lewis or Kiriloff
  16. Ya. All three had been the V8. It is a cordless and the battery wouldn't charge on the first 2 after 1-2 uses. 3rd time seems to be a charm and does very well with golden retriever fur. That said with the 2 lemons, Dyson's customer service has been top notch.
  17. Dyson V8 for me. ...after having to send back 2 lemons.
  18. If nothing else, its a interesting hire
  19. Apparently, it takes a while for baseball's stove to get hot.
  20. I honestly do not think that the team as it is currently constructed is that far away.* They lost 15 via walkoff, so I think shoring up the bullpen could go a long way in getting even closer.** I'd start with Joe Kelly, Andrew Miller on the cheap, and Familia/Herrera.*** I'd also shoot for Pearce as a placeholder at 1st, and LeMahieu/Jed Lowrie to plug in at 2nd. *This is entirely dependent on Buxton and Sano coming back as the 2017 version of themselves, not the 2018. **I don't know what is giving me this rosy outlook. I should probably get my head checked. ***This is video game wishing/spending ****Is it March 28th yet?
