  1. Yup. On the plus side, jimmy’s figuring out how to take control of the floor when this team needs him. Give it until the all star break, and this team will be rolling. More tyus, though, please.
  2. Setting the clock back to Twitter games ago, to measure Tyus’ worth vs Teague... So far, it’s Tyus 2, Teague 0.
  3. Wow. That was, I think, our first real look at a Jimmy G Buckets signature match. God bless that man. Haven’t had a player like that since KG.
  4. This game...more Tyus, please.
  5. I never understood the commitment to KAT as a Center. Even when it was KAT and Gorgui. KAT looks like a PF to me. Always has.
  6. What do you folks think about the DeAndre Jordan rumors? Jordan starts at C, allowing Towns to play in the 4 spot (which I’ve always thought is a much more natural fit)? I like Gibson though.
  7. He might not be as good as Teague, but everything seems to gel better when he is running the floor. And he’s a real smart defender. I won’t be shocked when he gets plugged back into the starting five at some point.
  8. Tough loss tonight. I really liked the effort though, considering the early deficit. Offense looked broken. Poor shot selection, indecision throughout. Probably just because Teague got swapped in after being out a week. I would start tyus. Every game. But, that’s just, like, my opinion.
  9. The homerun: though it is loved my many, it is also hated by few.
  10. “The strikeout has become an accepted and almost celebrated part of baseball.” Controversial to say the least.
  11. The Tyus revolution is upon us.
  12. That is impossible to believe. Pretty sure the question is “what do you like about me?” That’s a different, non yes/no answer, question.
  13. Vargas would project to have strong numbers if only he can accumulate 500 at bats in a season. Problem is, there’s no way he’ll ever get that many opportunities with this team. Shouldn’t come as news that this team’s had an excess of corner infielders in recent history. Cream rises to the top. I like Kennys, but this is not the place for him.
  14. I’ve actually had the conversation with several Twins fans here in LA: “what do you think of Molitor as a manager?” We tend to agree that the Twins win despite him. Not much of a consensus, but it’s at least a verdict, locally anyway... Good for him. I’m not overly excited about the news.
  15. Jimmy wants to score...great. Hope he does. But, take some reasonable shots, man. JG Buckets does NOT need to put this team on his back to win games. Awful.
  16. What the **** just happened?
  17. I am. Huge KAT fan here as well. Sometimes I think maybe expectations are just impossible for a man as young as he is and as good he's been in a short time, but I do find myself concerned. For me, the big anxiety came against the Pels. They won and all, but going into a game where it's all about KAT vs the NO front court and he fouls himself into a totally worthless showing...not good. The Brow wins again. But, all in all, I think KAT will figure things out in time. His deficiencies (block chasing, poor transition) are things you expect a young guy to be able to overcome with the right teaching.
  18. I'm calling a big win in Oaktown tomorrow night. Wolves are hot and rested. They've been doing a good enough job lately of protecting the perimeter to keep a few 3's off the board for the warriors. Jimmy's going to clamp down on KD, and Wiggy's going to go off for 30+. Should be a fun one.
  19. On the other side of that coin, it's perfectly possible that Thibs does not belong in this era of basketball.
  20. Yes, or the problem is thinking too much about individual pieces, instead of focusing on a team identity. Thibs' philosophy is clearly at odds with many of the pieces on this roster.
  21. Rubio is not an average PG. He's not on par with the best of the best, but his defense alone puts him closer to them than the alternative. His vision, passing, and defense would look really, really good on this team. He can't shoot, I get it. Plenty of guys on the Wolves are willing to shoot the ball all night.
  22. Ricky was perfect for this team. I could cry.
  23. Word. I was thinking about it last nigh, man. How does this team GIVE AWAY one of the best defensive PGs in the league like that? What would you give up to bring him back?
  24. They cannot be this bad without Butler. I mean, how?
