    I don't think it's been confirmed where he's going, but I can't make any sense of why Russo would leave this job to write at a startup, and I can't imagine why they'd have any desire hire someone of Russo's stature away to provide small market regional hockey coverage for them. I'm usually wrong about stuff, and I know he said he wouldn't do it, but until it's confirmed, I have to believe this has something to do with Vegas.

    Welp, Kyrie appears to be Boston-bound, and I'm kind of pissed. This trade makes absolutely no sense at all. I wasn't 100% counting on Kyrie being a twolf someday, but this just makes me mad because it's so stupid. Trading your 2nd best piece to your only competition in the East? Puhleaze, girlfriend.

    To me, looks like his curve and change are both flying at about the same speed (83 mph or so), and the similarities don't end there...they both tend to hit the ground somewhat before the plate. He's thrown a couple beauties, though. I like his stuff all in all.

    It is about racism. It can't possibly not be about racism. Without racism, there is no confederacy, there are no status or symbols. That's the point.

    ...and that is why anyone who refuses to peel the confederate flag decal off their rusty tailgate ought to be put on a big boat and sent off to a remote island, left to fend for themselves, without modern infrastructure/amenities, law and order, social welfare programs or anything else resembling a society based on contribution and cooperation. Does that opinion make me "Alt-Left"? If so, I guess I can live with that label.

    It's not really a 'viewpoint.' This idea of 'Southern Pride,' being explicitly 'Southern,' rather than more incrementally regional is inextricably linked to the qualities that are held in common throughout the confederacy. Chief among them: slavery - an institution of violent exploitation upon which antebellum southerners' fate and fortune were founded, without exception. I don't see this as a matter of perspective.
