Concur! But I don't mind a bar, either. If it draws those obnoxious drunk folks out of the stands and into their own area, I'm okay with that, too.

In Chicago, even the police want more/better gun control laws.
-
It's also cool to see someone with impact retire in the off-season and not announce this will be their last season and every game and event becomes 'the last time' all throughout a season.
-
Well ... he could be the dance party leader ...

Continue the Torii retirement discussion here.
-
I think it was pretty clear that there would be a place for him somewhere within the organization upon retirement. So, it's not farewell ... it'll still be Torii ... just in a different role.

Moderator note: We all go to ballgames and bring, or not bring, our kids and appreciate varying experiences. While sometimes those experiences and expectations contradict one another, please let's not devolve this discussion into a 'Leave your kids at home because they annoy me' argument. This is a ballpark discussion and what the Twins could do to enhance the experience for some. Feel free to agree and disagree how that is achieved, but let's leave the finger pointing at others' kids as a reason your experience is not what you hoped for.

Personally, I tend to like movies more when I have to 'suspend belief' at some point. Movies for me are an escape to 'make believe,' even sort of, possibly, maybe 'possible make believe.'

Ryan On Suzuki: He Took The Post
Squirrel replied to Nick Nelson's topic in Twins Daily Front Page News
Ask Cubs fans. That's their mantra. -
I think it could go either way. But I'll say KC in 7. In 7 is as close to 'either way' as it comes.

I don't mind the ads ... but they shouldn't be singing, talking, shouting, making noise. And I'm pretty sure it's not the type of ads the site wants. Further, this is the proper forum to bring up any issues regarding the site, whether it be a complaint, an issue, a suggestion, a kudos, a whatever.

I seem to be getting these sound ads ... but they don't correlate with anything I see anywhere ... how is that?

Twins interested in AJ Pierzynski reunion
Squirrel replied to Boom Boom's topic in Minnesota Twins Talk
Moderator note: Let's stick to topic here. This is a thread about AJ. If you have questions about the site and how and why it does what it does, ask a question in the MinnCentric forum or feel free to PM one of the site owners or a moderator. Thanks. -
Really???? omg ... you missed the go ahead, and the top 9th???
-
I'll be in KC on Tuesday and Wednesday for work. Gonna be interesting!
-
omg ... what a finish!
-
Wow ... that is an amazing photo!

You didn't post any in this thread ... not that I can see. -
Twins interested in AJ Pierzynski reunion
Squirrel replied to Boom Boom's topic in Minnesota Twins Talk
meh ... I don't boo my own players, no matter what. But that's a hard one. Heh ... White Sox fans might have a hard time with him on our team, though, and that would be fun. At a game at the Cell this past season, a woman a couple rows behind me went on and on how the White Sox should've retired AJ's number, how it was sacrilege anyone else would wear it. (I laughed.) -
Let's just stick to baseball for now. Whatever you think of Murphy as a person ... I still think his home run splurge during the off-season was worthy of a wow. (And no, I don't support his views whatsoever, but that's a discussion for another thread.)
-
The metric is that no one 'liked' your original post. But the day is young. glunn could get to it yet.
-
And the Mets are on their way to the WS. Buh bye, Chicago … as the Cubs' fans mantra goes … next year!
-
Bottom of the 9th and the final nail is all but nailed down … Cubs need a miracle; Mets up 8-3.
-
Wow! And Murphy did it again! Has homered in 6 straight post-season games! Not that it matters much as the Mets have the Cubs over a barrel ... 8-1Mets in the top of the 8th.
