  1. Here's the article on her lawsuit with Marriott. That guy ruined her life and her career, and he only got 2 1/2 years in jail? Sad, but not surprising, not in the world I come from. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2016/03/01/the-ordeal-of-espns-erin-andrews-target-of-nude-peephole-videos-and-sexist-affronts/?tid=sm_fb
  2. No words for that. Really. And while there are many who know better and get it, there are so many that are so completely unaware at how clueless and unenlightened they truly are. And the suggestions come out at how somehow she was involved or responsible in any way is just disgusting. And then be put in a position like she was, in order to keep her job? I often feel like the world I live in is 2 steps forward, 3 steps back.
  3. PB toast is the best! It's my 'go to' meal when I just can't decide what I want or when I don't feel like fixing anything. Try sprinkling just a little cinnamon sugar over it. Oh man, DADGUM that's good! I seek out recipes using PB. My favorite is peanut sesame noodles. Yum! And Trader Joe's dark chocolate PB cups! Omg! Yay for peanut butter!!! As for the pig day, pigs are amazing creatures. Check out Estelle the Wonder Pig on FB. As for eating pig, I'm not a huge fan of pork. I have bacon maybe twice a year; bbq baby backs maybe twice a year. That's it for pork consumption, but I do like really cute pig videos.
  4. It's the ultimate in reality television and that's exactly how he's playing this. It's all a game to him to feed the ego. And people watch that crap rabidly and buy into it and quality falls by the wayside. He might be smart, but to spew what he does with no care or concern for what happens and who he riles up, he is NOT a good person, not by a longshot.
  5. Same time? Might be a good possibility I'll be there on Wednesday.
  6. Further, he wasn't just questioned about David Duke, he was questioned about David Duke AND the KKK, to which he claimed to not know enough about the group to disavow any support.
  7. I still think his responses to support from those entities in our country is extremely telling. And while you might not remember who David Duke is, I would expect him to. The vile Trump spews has only emboldened those who now feel justified in causing harm.
  8. No. Playing tennis instead. Will there be any kind of practice on Wednesday?
  9. I looked for you but didn't see you. Where were you spying from? Noticed Torii out there working with the outfielders. Fun day.
  10. C. Turn down the offer and stay home and watch the game on the television. Or turn them down and buy my own to have the freedom to enjoy the game on my own terms.
  11. I'm not sure I'd qualify the hate and vile that comes out of his mouth as thinking. And anyone in this day of age who condones support from the KKK is just plain evil. And anyone who supports that person is equally horrible.
  12. Welcome! I think you aren't alone in hoping to see these things happen! Just join into any discussion anytime; or start your own.
  13. He's tapping into the hate that is in all of us and fostering it and letting it froth and fester.
  14. Welcome! The best way to get going is to just jump in ... with both feet ... into the deep end!
  15. If it were low bowling averages, I'd be safe everywhere.
  16. I don't think Bernie is done yet. Super Tuesday will give us a clear indicator.
  17. I think Sanders supporters would rather not vote than vote for Trump. And I think there are plenty of Republicans who won't vote if it's Trump.
  18. 'Oh, hush, you!' she nattered.
  19. I get mentioning this in this thread, but we've had a number of threads devoted to this issue. I don't want a thread about ST tidbits to turn into another Sano thread. Just sayin' ...
  20. People see Trump and Sanders as party outsiders saying exactly what they want to hear, not to compare the two because I think Bernie is genuine and Trump is not. And, further, I think Trump is dangerous.
  21. I tried to clean up this thread to no avail. It's just a mess. Someone says something sarcastic, someone else responds defensively and soon everyone jumps in. There were some open-minded and reasonable thoughts here and there, but there is no where to go from here. So I'll leave you all with what Brock said a while back and maybe some of you can put your sarcasm and posturing back in the closet. It's a very, very long season and it hasn't even started yet. Some open-mindedness, a little give and take and a lot of ego checking would help. Thread closed.
  22. Er ... don't you mean Wednesday and Thursday?
  23. I miss the Master of Snark immensely! There was/is none better ... can't imagine anyone wearing that crown other than him! We've had word from him that family and work has overtaken his time, but all is well.
  24. Maybe. I do worry to read reports, though, that caucus attendance and voting is down for the Democrats despite all that is going on. I hope 'complacency' and 'no way we could lose' sets in and they fail to get out and vote.
  25. Not sure the shake up won't be all over, tbh. We could see the beginnings of a migration from a two-party system. The 'outsiders' and the 'insiders' are really at odds these days, more so than at any other time I recall.
