  1. Maybe, unless Julian Assange, aided by the Russians, has done more 'digging' and releases something new, as he's been hinting at lately.
  2. Lol, I didn't even really think about it although the issue did arise in that first episode. But as jimmer said there were reasons why it was them.
  3. I like Rachel Maddow for that.
  4. I didn't say it was good ... said it was interesting, but we'll see. I'm not really sure of either one of the 'time travel' shows, how it will work. Well, 'Timeless' is time travel ... good guys chasing bad guys through history as the bad guys try to change it and the good guys try to preserve it. But in the process of preserving it, it ends up changing a little so the good guy travelers come back to a slightly altered future. After one episode, not sure how altered or how, why ... if it's everything or just their own personal histories that get altered. 'Frequency' isn't really time travel, but the lead character living in the present somehow can talk to her father in the past on this ham radio. (Yeah, I know, contrived, they both are ... ) They are both cops ... he got killed in the past, on the job, while undercover and was labeled a dirty cop. She somehow talks to him in the past just days before he gets killed and she tells him how as she unearths some buried information on it. So, as you would expect, he manages not to get killed. Then you see a montage of her memories changing because her past changed as well as her present is now different. And she remembers both pasts. But then in her new past, her mother disappears; in her present they discover her body. So, the first episode ends where she finds her past self (before her mom disappears) on the ham radio and tells her to get the ham radio to her father, who is recovering in the hospital after not getting killed. Her father knows that he's somehow talking to his daughter in the future. Anyway ... not very good synopses, I don't make them sound at all interesting, but ... at the time I watched they held my interest. But as i said, I wouldn't yet call them 'good.' But interesting enough I'll likely tune in. If I remember when and what network they were on. And I hadn't even heard of them ... they just happened to be on while i was home channel surfing.
  5. I saw a couple of new shows recently. Modern takes on 'Time Tunnel' ... sort of. Not sure I'll keep up with them, but the pilots were semi-interesting. One was called 'Timeless' and the other 'Frequency.'
  6. Maybe the strategy was to set up Pence in order to do this knowing he'd lie, deny and defend ... http://www.pajiba.com/politics/hillary-clinton-quickly-turns-mike-pences-debate-victory-into-ash.php If that was the case then I won't even give style to Pence if it was a set up.
  7. Yup. I was going to vote 3rd party in 2008 ... in Illinois, Obama winning was a done deal, so it didn't really matter ... but then the Palin nomination. While it made no difference in Illinois, it did in other states.
  8. Heh ... I just find 'didn't go totally off the rails' and 'success' a wee bit at odds with one another ... but I get what you mean.
  9. I agree that Pence came across as the more composed and I think held a better demeanor ... but he still lied his ass off.
  10. Same spot, top right side ... there were two in a row ... I didn't get the first one, but here's the State Farm one ... video/audio ad ... and no way to stop or mute it:
  11. PM Brock Beauchamp. If you can get a screen shot, great; if not, let him know what position on the page it is and exactly what it's advertising. For future reference, a lot of these issues get brought up in the Questions About MinnCentric forum found here: http://twinsdaily.com/forum/13-questions-about-minncentric/ You can post any question or issue you have there.
  12. Make me! Oh ... wait ...
  13. I had a pretty good lunch but this made me hungry all over again! Damn you, vanimal ... damn you!
  14. Drunkenly stumbling, as I've had too much vodka, with my putter in hand, not sure why, but I've had too much vodka, looking for the corner taco trucks. Happily they aren't banished, yet, and hopefully never will be. Taco truck tacos are THE BEST!
  15. Well ... pho' you!
  16. I will be celebrating National Taco Day by joyfully and gleefully seeking out the taco trucks on every corner! Yay for Tacos!
  17. Right. Concur. As much as I've wanted FO change and have always advocated that if you want real, substantial change, it comes from the top down, I would be skeptical of a new hire who just came in handing out pink slips right and left. The Twins aren't some small 'mom and pop' shop, it will take time (how much or how little I don't know and won't predict). But I do want to see some kind of immediate indicators that he's working to move the organization in his direction and not the organization directing him.
  18. Glad I was able to see the finale in person. Now going home to watch the archived game, Twins feed, to see if I made it on TV.
  19. If they blow this for Berrios I'll be pissed.
  20. That was humane. Ballpark beer? Blecht
  21. Yeah well, facts get in the way of nothing around here
  22. Yeah, beware of Chief's parties. They involve lawn maintenance and barcaloungers
