  1. The Dems will not win the House. The Senate, maybe, hopefully ... but they won't retake the House.
  2. Um, out of 'creamer' ... as in non-dairy creamer, or partially non-dairy creamer? I'd be more comfortable with your statement if you had said 'Our office out of cream this morning ...'
  3. And you know that's exactly what she's done because it suits your stance on her? I'm not saying there aren't questions in her motivation to get to a certain point on issues, most politicians go that route, and most politicians bring up issues of trust. As much as I support Clinton, I do raise an eyebrow here and there ... but I do that on most, if not all, candidates. But to throw off Trump's blatant spewing of actual falsehoods as BS and to some how say that's the same or not even as bad to me lacks a serious sense of objectivity on your part. And to me that's what most are doing for various reasons.
  4. As I sip my large, iced, extra shot, 2% latte Edit: And no, just no, not Starbucks. That isn't coffee, that's swill.
  5. I wasn't saying that because yeah, of course. I was saying it would be something North would like and agree with.
  6. And statements like this are as much a part of the problem as anything. Seriously, gunnar. It's obvious you have a deep-seeded dislike of Clinton to the point that you are not even objective. And it's so typical. Throw off Trump's blatant ugliness as BS while creating an image that Clinton is worse. You just have proven what smurf was saying.
  7. Yeah ... but I still thought you'd like the ... poutine, hockey, friendship ... and in that order And the 'Like America but much nicer"
  8. This for a friends to the North ... http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-37454533
  9. Warner did endorse Clinton. Again, not sure how much sway endorsements have, but he was a long-time Senator from Virginia and it could have some effect there, being that Virginia is a swing state. Again, not sure if endorsements sway anyone, but it's interesting.
  10. The Dallas Star endorsed Clinton. And they hadn't endorsed a Democrat in ... 70 yrs I think it said? And many of their readers were cancelling their subscriptions in protest, but the paper stands by what it did. The surprising thing for me about the Arizona Republic was that they have NEVER, in their history, endorsed a Democrat. And while endorsements of any kind don't really hold much sway for me, I found it interesting that their endorsement of Clinton didn't seem that begrudgingly, either. Yes, they commented that they had some concerns, and that no, they hadn't changed their conservative ideology, but how ... well ... scathing they were of Trump. They could have endorsed no one, or perhaps Johnson, to better fit their ideology, but they actually chose to endorse Clinton was a huge message about just how unfit Trump was. If you haven't read the endorsement, I found it interesting.
  11. Well ... I do work out ... I wouldn't say a lot, but more than the average ... PT twice/week, cardio tennis 2-4 times/week (depending on schedule), tennis lesson most weeks ... plus I ride my bike to and/or from work most days, or walk it ... unless it's raining. So ... I am active, probably more than the average (I don't know what the average is so I'm making that up to make me feel good). But ... I do like to eat, good food. And I love to bake. Mostly I give away my baked goods ... but ... I do have to test for quality control. And I don't drink a lot. Just some, on social occasions, like a pub crawl. Even then ... wasn't a lot ... Craig is my witness to that.
  12. Chief ... did you have something to do with this?
  13. Well, actually, I'm not sure then I know what you mean. It almost sounds like you want one site with forums to be separated by team, rather than separate sites for each team? I think TD does a pretty good job at linking its sites. Maybe there could be a little more cross-promotion, but imo I think having as many links as they do is sufficient. I would guess that the majority of users who come here are pretty exclusively Twins/baseball fans, with a few being 'more than one team/sport' fans and I, personally, don't really want to see more football/hockey/etc here on TD. If I want Vikings and Wild news, it's an easy click away.
  14. The low part for Trump is that he spouts whatever he wants despite the lack of veracity. And people are stupid enough to just believe it because he says it. And that he's a misogynist, racist, bigoted prick. What he does in his rhetoric, and that the media covers it and doesn't really call him on it, is legitimizing hate rhetoric. His taxes, yes, shows a real lack of transparency. And when Clinton suggested that perhaps he hasn't paid any taxes, he says that makes him smart. Right.
  15. Well, I click on them. I'm not a nobody. But then maybe I'm the sole somebody who does?
  16. Um ... you should always wait for the editor to wake up before posting. Now your post makes little sense. I know what you mean, though.
  17. Well ... this could explain it ... http://jezebel.com/howard-dean-just-accused-donald-trump-of-being-on-cocai-1787117523?utm_campaign=socialflow_gizmodo_facebook&utm_source=gizmodo_facebook&utm_medium=socialflow
  18. Hahaha ... those were great ... and I actually remember quite a few of them. And no, not because any of them were hanging on my walls. To clarify ... none were hanging on my walls ... I just remember them.
  19. Yup. This is the difference between the candidates ... one who actually prepares, studies, knows what she's talking about whether or not you agree with her, and the other who just 'wings it.' I don't know how anyone can choose the latter to be put in charge of anything. Ever. Especially along with all the hate rhetoric he spews.
  20. There are links all down the right side of the TD that are all links to VJ forum articles and threads.
  21. I'm sure it wasn't a special recipe ... probably sugar, water, and fresh raspberries. But ... for those who don't want to go out and buy the special pan to make these, Trader Joe's has them in their freezer section with other breakfast foods. They aren't quite as good as homemade, little is, but they are quite good for frozen to microwave food.
  22. The pancake variety I like the best is aebleskiver ... the Danish pancake. You use a special pan and it makes these little round, puff pancakes. You can put a filling or them and make them plain. Plain is fine with me ... served with syrup or jam. My aunt always made them and served them with homemade raspberry syrup ... was the best! http://jessicaburns.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/IMG_9519.jpg
  23. And by the way, y'all need to post that mascot race video here on TD for those who don't tweet and Twitter.
