If the Indians win (I know how not to jinx things unlike some of you) ... if the Indians win tonight, I'm gonna have to come up with something snarky but not sounding snarky to say.
ding ding ding ding ding ... Yes ... for whatever reason ... it gave me serious nightmares for a long time ... and as a result, I never, ever want to go on cruise. Fears are irrational ... what can I say. And I'm fine with y'all laughing at this because I've laughed at some of your stories.
No. Okay, hint ... it wasn't even in the 'scary movie' genre ... that's why you'll laugh ... but it gave me nightmares, to the point, as I said, there is something that I will never do in my lifetime.
Heh, yeah ... I'd have to run out of the room for that. My sister didn't like the tornado. And still has tornado dreams to this day. Not sure if it was because of that, but she'll never watch the movie 'Twister.'
I'm pretty sure I saw 'The Ring' ... can't say that it had a lasting impression on me. And I say that ... you're gonna laugh when Willi and Van finally figure out what movie gave me nightmares, that to this day there is something I will never do in my life.
The Exorcist I have never seen and won't watch. The Shining I LOVE. Best scary movie ever! Several years back my nephew was staying with me and he had just finished reading the book and, lo and behold, the movie was on television so he decided to watch it. He was sitting there in a comfy chair with a glass of water in his hands. I came up behind him at a particular point in the movie and yelled, 'REDRUM!' When he jumped the water in the glass went flying up and hit me pretty square. Heh ... good times.
Those would be reasonable. The one's I went to/saw, I think I was 10 or 11 at the time. And it wasn't so much that I was even scared during the movies, but they gave me nightmares afterwards ... and one movie to a semi-permanent degree that there is something that I will never do in my life. ahhhh ... a mystery ... you may ask yes or no questions until you figure it out ...
I have one response to these scary movie stories ... LOL! I won't tell you which movies scared me because they were stupid and I'm ashamed to admit I even watched them.
Articles like this say it all. I'm cheering on the Indians. Just because. I hate media drool. http://mlb.nbcsports.com/2016/10/24/i-guess-the-white-sox-dont-count/
I voted today. Early voting polling places opened today. You could have already voted downtown at the city clerk's office, but the early polling places opened today. At 2pm on a Monday afternoon, it wasn't 'line out the door' crowded, but it was busy and my wait time was about 45 mins. But it's done. If something happens between now and then? Not sure it would change my mind at this point.
