I have no opinion on the women, really ... heh ... but the men on your list, nope, not me. Well, Idris Elba ... I could listen to his voice all day long ... and night Heh ... I'm still laughing at Brock unintentionally naming all the Thor actors ... laughing because yeah, they would all be there somewhere ... and I never identified them before as all from Thor until he said it, but there it is. It's really hard to make a 'list' because I really like people for different reasons. Heck, I would put Steve Buscemi on 'my list.' By society standards, he wouldn't be considered handsome, but I find him extremely appealing, even sexy, because he is an extremely interesting person and I like the portrayals he's done.

Heh ... when I suggested this exercise, I thought ... 'Okay, easy ... I can name 5 'hot' women actresses' ... and I'm going through lists and pictures and NONE of them struck me that way. But seriously? Johnny Depp???? You really don't see it?? Omg ... I'm just astounded! But for what it's worth, I'm not high up on Benedict Cumberbatch at all. That is one I don't get from the female perspective. I guess male or female, we all have a 'type.'

And we don't know for sure if that's actually what we did. Your basis of argument is as much speculation as anyone else's. You don't even know how hard they negotiated but are certain that they couldn't have tried hard enough because the result isn't to your liking. It's not to my liking either, but yet, there it is. I'd certainly be far more willing to accept your premise and speculation if it were the old regime because there is history to support that, but that's not who was involved.

If there wasn't anyone else of significance offered, then in my mind yes, it basically was a 1:1 offer. If there was no one else with real potential offered, then I'd rather buy an actual lottery ticket. And that's what I think happened. There was no one else worth having, that had the potential to make us better. Then all we are really talking about is Dozier for DeLeon. And I think that was the Dodgers' plan ... to see how much they could get for DeLeon to fill 2nd base with someone better, and how much that was was Forsythe. I also think that was what they thought, too, and all of this talk with the Twins was to see if they could possibly squeeze out more, and they couldn't. So they made the deal they knew they could. It's the only thing that truly makes any logical sense. And NO GM was going to make a better trade.They've improved their position without giving up more than they wanted to. Time will tell if they improved enough.

Well, Emma Watson would be one ... Amy Adams ... Charlize Theron ... If we were dipping back into yesteryear I'd put Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn on there.

No ... this isn't a list of 'I've heard women say this' ... this is a list from YOUR perspective ... who as a man do you think women think are hot? Or maybe ... who would you want to be because you think they'd be a magnet for women?

Heh ... this is going to fall under the 'other such nonsense' portion on the title, but who would be on your lists for men? Who do you think are 'hot'? And I'll put together a list of women, and let's see how far off we are. Or not. Make it a list of 5.

Okay ... so ... um ... maybe it's because it's not my cup o' tea ... but why is Kate Beckinsale so hot? I guess I wouldn't have her on my list, but then, yeah, I lean more toward Viggo Mortensen and Johnny Depp being my 'go tos'.

I think it's more nuanced than that ... is it hugely or mildly disappointing? I think that's the debate and where people disagree. -
Yeah ... didn't want to get into the whole Israeli/Palestinian debate, but the original statement was a tad misleading. It was Congress-approved funds and not Obama just acting on his own to send non-approved funds, trying to 'get away' with something in the last hour. And I'm sure that's not what was meant ... but just a stand-alone comment like that just made it a bit misleading is all.

Well ... that aside, and I think it would be a disaster based on my experience of the two teams and their fans by living in the middle of them ... back to the topic ... how would re-alignment alter the time zone issue, unless you kept east from west until the WS?

Yeah, I'd change Milwaukee and White Sox. I think it would be a bad idea to have two teams that reside in the same city in the same division. But even so ... the problem still remains. With no difference dividing the leagues (assume the DH rule is the same all over), in this case East and West as you've mapped them out, there'd probably be more inter-league play and you'd still have the issue of east and west coast teams playing one another, unless you changed the rules and had no inter-league play and the only time 'east' meets 'west' is in the WS.
