  1. You can do that at anytime, actually ... but it requires willpower to not continue to check in here ... and since I'm replying it means I've checked in here, which is a good indicator of my own willpower to stay away!
  2. I think it's the most intense of the three, but also the shortest lived of the three.
  3. I'd be curious to see the breakdown between genders on who chooses #3. I mean, not that I've never experienced #3, but all of these are just different levels(kinds) of euphoria. I don't think I could handle a lifetime of #3. I mean, that can be pretty intense. While a great feeling, I just don't think I could handle it for a lifetime. I wouldn't necessarily think of #2 as euphoric, but just a long sigh of contentment of being off my feet, finally. It's just a different kind of sigh. Maybe it's more about the pain leading up to the release that makes it different.
  4. And I am totally without English lessons on that last response, but typing without a thumb gets in the way of clear thinking. (I sliced it open yesterday while slicing a cucumber.)
  5. For me that's an easy choice ... #2. Not exactly why but I think 1 and 3 are more euphoria-like emotions, or pure joy ... whereas number 2 for me is total contentment. It's a really good long sigh moment which is more than the blissful food one or the euphoric release one. Heh, and saying euphoric release over and over ... well ...
  6. Okay ... is it hypertheticals or hypotheticals or is that dependent on the hypo/hyper-thetical itself? I'm just confused.
  7. Your contact doesn't know where it is either.
  8. Yeah ... we have 'fights' over the temp at work. The men think it's too hot, the one woman thinks it's too cold. The winners are the ones who don't keep a blanket and heating pad at their desks for those days where it's just too cold.
  9. Now I'm thinking I may have to attend. Of course, I was already thinking that because this is a great event.
  10. I'm laughing because this situation is humorous to me.
  11. It's why I used a smiley face ... so Van would know I'm being light-hearted about it and not pass the reins to me.
  12. Okay, whoever came up with this hypertherical didn't think this through.
  13. Then definitely no. Who gets to set what is perfect? Perfect for me is low 80s, lower humidity. That is not 'perfect' for Chicago the dates you listed.
  14. Yep ... I'm with the above two ... no perfect days. Too afraid of the cost. Not worth it.
  15. Yeah ... even as a plan B ... I don't see it. Maybe a plan E or F.
  16. If that was their answer, and that was available to them all along, then why have we even been negotiating for so long? If signing this guy is comparable to getting Dozier, then the Twins have big problems and will get nothing for him.
  17. I don't think they are content with what they have or they wouldn't be discussing trading Dozier at all.
  18. I can accept that. I don't know if I completely agree with calling it a failure, but I can accept that perspective.
  19. I wouldn't say a lot are not claiming high expectations. Some, but not a lot. I think there are many who are claiming we need equal worth or not at all. All of this is a matter of opinion and perspective. Personally, I think we need to trade him and I'll be disappointed if a deal can't be worked out. But I also don't think it betters us if we don't get enough. Just for DeLeon? Are you saying you make that deal because we need to make a deal, any deal? And if that's all we are offered, we are remiss to not take it, because we need to trade Dozier regardless? And if we don't, it's because our FO is derelict in their responsibilities? Really? Because that's what the accusation is. I think if a deal can't be worked out, it's because a deal can't be worked out. Period. I can't judge it because I don't know what all truly was and wasn't involved. No one does.
  20. No, it's not, not at all. You are choosing to say that two people who know baseball better than both of us combined, chose an incredibly irresponsible choice to serve their egos, over doing their jobs and walking away. And my point is ... you don't know and neither do I and I won't judge someone for something that I don't know.
  21. Well, we will never know. Unless you are a fly on that wall, you will never know. And I honestly don't think we can make that assumption. Seriously. I think that's a pretty serious accusation.
  22. As opposed to what? That they got good offers and turned them down?
  23. The problem is, in here, there seems to be a huge disagreement about what Dozier is worth. Seems that when/if a trade is made, some are going to say it was a huge overpay, when it very well could be a fair trade (or even an underpay). Now, if there is no trade, some may just figure that the Dodgers weren't offering fair value (or less) and that may just be the case. For example, if only De Leon was on the table and the trade didn't happen. It's all speculation, but I don't think it's fair to judge the outcome, on either side, based on facts we just don't know.
  24. Is that all?
  25. I've always thought this.
