  1. I think we need to give the hope for updates a rest until after the New Year.
  2. George Michael ... Wake me up before you go-go, have Faith, guess it was his Last Christmas ... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=lu3VTngm1F0
  3. My lamb: My Mom's prime rib (yes, it was that big): And my Dad's pie (yes it was that big);
  4. Mmmmm ... yummy!
  5. That's lobster eating cheating! But still yummy! I personally like shrimp better. Lobster is a bit rich for me so only have it when I visit my sister in Maine. And then it's the whole fresh live in the pot and we have to work for the meat!
  6. See that check mark in the upper right corner of the post you want to like? Yup, just touch there. When the check mark changes to an X, you've successfully liked it.
  7. Um, lobster in California? Whole, fresh? And you have to pull them apart and all that? Do you wear a lobster bib, and will you post pics of you wearing it?
  8. Merry Christmas breakfast! One of the few times a year I eat bacon!
  9. Okay, so it's a food and holiday thread ... report back what great food you had today (and last night if you do a Christmas Eve dinner. Last night we had shrimp/lobster Newburgh with salad and Scandinavian red cabbage and some crusty bread. Apple rum dum for dessert. Merry Christmas, y'all ... or Happy Chanukah, or Happy Festivus, or Happy Kwanzaa ... whatever you are celebrating, what are you eating!
  10. I just can't like this enough so I am quoting it to say I can't like this enough to show how much I like this.
  11. RAIL BARON!!! Card games, besides those mentioned, that are family fun at the holidays: hearts, up and down the river, spoons
  12. For the purposes of this thread, let's not make this yet another discussion/debate thread. Markos started this for the purposes of gathering information, not to rehash debate already occurring in another thread. It's already a given we all have varying opinions based on the other threads, so let's let people freely submit their answers to the questions, without questioning their answers. Thank you everyone.
  13. The first two times I played Catan I won. No such luck since but it's a fun game
  14. Too bad ... but cribbage ... I'm a master
  15. And all kinds of ick.
  16. Omg ... you play bridge?
  17. I remember playing canasta with my grandma a very long time ago. She died in 1980, before you were born
  18. Hahaha ... only you, Brian. But I knew what you meant and I agree.
  19. It's a gamble but I don't think we should be trading away Dozier for just anything just to trade him now. That mentality will guarantee a worse return than what we should get.
  20. And the more we act with urgency, the more leverage we give up. The more we 'need' to 'do it now' the less we'll get. I'm fine with holding firm until we get quality pieces 1, 2 and 3
  21. I hope to see Rosario in right and Kepler in left this year. I'm not sure about Poanco at 3rd, though. You don't really say anything about why you think he'd slot there other than it's the only open spot left and he's the last one to be put somewhere. I think the Twins will have to go outside the org for a legit 3rd baseman.
  22. It could be. Or they could want higher quality 3rd and 4th pieces and not just 'filler.'
  23. Sure. Obviously the Twins FO hasn't heard what they want or a deal would've been struck. Who really is the bottleneck is really anyone's guess. The FO has said from the beginning they want to be blown away or no trade and I, for one, agree with that, while others do not. All we can do is wait and see and in the meantime, speculate and debate away ... civilly of course.
  24. Seth, how much of Molitor's input do these last coaching hires have? Or are these all on Falvey-Levine or equal input?
