    A friend of mine took video at the last game he went to at Guaranteed Rate and it was a sea of empty seats. After their 3-game sweep of the Rays over the weekend, I’m assuming there will be a few more there, but I’m hoping it’s half and half Twins and Sox fans 🙂

    Going with a group, so we’ll see if they want to move around. Also the seats right behind the plate in those first few rows … they check your tickets there because they are fancy seating. I’m hoping there are more Twins fans at the game than White Sox fans

    This is my concern as well. There are recent studies and articles out there about the sharp rise in pitcher injuries due to increased velocity and spin. Either Duran would have to pitch fewer innings as a starter, which everyone “loves” or would have to give up a lot of velocity to make it work. And not only that, if he were to transition back a starter, that should have happened in the off-season and ST. It would be disastrous to start that now. Too late for this year. And not a good idea for ever, imo.

    Stick to topic, please. I get that this topic of Duran as starter is old and tired and one we’ve seen many times over the years, so don’t comment, then. But also don’t threadjack. Especially not to another old and tired topic, that has become a pet topic for one of you. Stop.

    As my residence for the past 24+ yrs, I can verify that that simply is not true. I could go point by point do what’s good about Chicago, but that list would be way too long. That’s not to say I like everything about the city because I don’t, but there is a lot to like. When I retire I’m likely to move back to Minnesota, but I might not. We’ll see.
