  1. My sister is a ‘turn coat’ when she married a devoted Red Sox fan and became one of them, then raised two of them. I love them all, but yeeesh, talk about making it difficult
  2. It’s easy to catch up on the game thread when it’s only two pages long
  3. I liked that because, yeah, we did. Not that I liked that
  4. Didn’t he start the year last year a bit shaky? As ,not as he’s lights out for the playoffs …
  5. Some people are very black and white, no gray. I work with a guy like that and I think he makes a lot of work for himself and then wonders why he doesn’t have time. He’s really great at what he does, but I also wish he’d trust himself a little more because he truly knows what he’s doing. But he’s trying to eliminate anything ever going wrong. Hoping he will learn.

  7. Martin backs up CF, 2B, OF and can pinch run. That’s it. He is not a viable backup at SS not having played there, in how long? Why anyone thinks he’s a back up for SS is beyond me. EDIT: Ash already said the above part. But I agree, mostly, with your post about who should or will go.
  8. Woohoo ... Castro scores!!! Guess his not taking third didn't matter. This time.
  9. His tastebuds still havent grown back after freezing his tongue to the ice berg
  10. I just came here to post this ... but yeah, that was the move
  11. You can also rate the article using stars. Not sure how it shows up on the phone, but I know on the ipad or computer, on the upper right of the article page, you can click on the stars, 1-5
  12. There is an ignore feature that is pretty easy to use. And it still allows you to view a user's post if you choose to. It's pretty easy to put someone on ignore and remove it.
  13. I will use the thumbs down from time to time without comment. Often times those who disagree along with me have already said it, even better than I could. Or I've already stated my opinion elsewhere in the thread. The other times I use the thumbs down ... I reserve it to constant trollers or dead horse beaters ... That said, I'd be in favor of doing away with them because there are those who never/rarely comment and just let their emojis do their talking. Especially those who use the 'laugh' emoji when someone is very obviously stating a serious opinion. That is nothing more than trolling by emoji.
  14. For sure. But I think bringing in generic comments of dislike into multiple threads versus truly giving detail to a specific topic isn’t too difficult to discern. IMO.
  15. This is what the OP has asked. Let’s not rehash the decisions that are made and done. It does no good and really adds little to the discussion. Where’s Brock’s dead horse emoji when you need it? What’s to be done now and forward?
