  1. Agreed. It’s lunacy to not give him playing time, either here or there
  2. Oh, I forgot about Garlick. Yeah, as I said, Miranda could get the call, but not to play the OF. And it’s the call I’d probably make
  3. I found this a strange article and a strange comparison, imo. I mean no disrespect when I say that, but it is very odd to me. I guess in the grander scale, talking about relevancy, we could draw comparisons, make analogies, to many things. The only constant is change. If anything wants to remain constant, well, change is inevitable. Adapt or perish. I work in an industry that competes for its own relevancy and we are always trying new things, presenting ourselves in new venues, trying to find new things that relate to others in meaningful ways. Sometimes it means letting go of persons or things that made us relevant at one time but is making us irrelevant in a new time. But baseball is making itself irrelevant on its own. While other entities work toward finding answers, I don't think baseball is trying to that because those who own it, don't really care, truly, about its fanbase and the people that make it relevant.
  4. The Guardians is the renamed team from Cleveland, where Falvey was when their pitching pipeline was developed.
  5. Calling up Miranda would be a strong possibility if Kirilloff goes to the IL, but not to play LF, ever. We have Larnach, Celestino and Gordon to rotate through LF ... assuming Buxton doesn't go on the IL. But even if he does, we have both Celestino and Gordon who can play center or left, with Larnach getting into the mix in left or right. Miranda would backup the infield to play 1st, 2nd or 3rd. If Buxton goes on the IL, too ... I'm not going to utter who I think the Twins might call up as another OFer.
  6. Okay ... nap time ... wake me when it's over, please
  7. Well, **** ... game over ...
  8. Google is your friend lol
  9. Fyi ... Chicago comes to the Twins ... the Twins aren't in Chicago until the first week of July, much to my chagrin
  10. No to Kep in CF except for an occasional backup. Celestino takes CF. CF is a CFer.
  11. Urshela, maybe? (Although I don't know his stats there in that position.) But Polanco is certainly fine as a backup in spot starts here and there. Also, Correa had a shorter ST than everyone else, so I can understand giving Correa the day this early in the season.
  12. Gah! Come on ,,, don’t let another Correa double go to waste
  13. He was in a little league team that was the Twins, so he ended up following them. Go to the Twins site and look for the interview he gave the other day
  14. Oh, just your word usage, thought maybe you were a nautical man
  15. But we’re glad you can’t seem to help yourself!
