  1. Sounds fun. Too bad I live out of town. But you can look for me in the crowd at the game against the White Sox.
  2. Today I still have the flowers, but the others are all different ... Allstate, Spectrum internet, Nissan, American Red Cross ... interesting as I have not done any 'internetting' on insurance, internet, cars or donations. And, further, I don't use Allstage or Spectrum internet, don't drive a Nissan and never have, nor do I donate to the Red Cross. Oh, and I go to a local flower shop when I want to send flowers.
  3. I agree with every word in this post. In a word ... concur!
  4. I prefer to believe that each of us has secret lives to those around us but not to those who monitor our computers. Uh, wait a minute ... is my microwave turned off?
  5. Makes me wonder what any of us is doing during the day, night, and other. Actually, it doesn't ... I don't wanna know.
  6. I really wonder who is on the other end of these ads. I mean, I'm now getting ads for CA technologies ... I mean ... wth is that? Me getting any kind of technology ads is really funny. Also getting ads for xfinity and 1800flowers. Oh, and there's PayPal at the bottom of the thread. Hmm.
  7. See, that doesn't happen to me but very rarely, and I'm using my iPad when I'm on TD 75% of the time.
  8. Lol ... I never noticed. If I were, I would just chalk it up to my online activity and wouldn't think anything of it as I mostly shop online. Shoe ads come up quite a lot for me ... again, I think it's normal.
  9. Nick mentioned Hughes' start in his Report from the Fort. There was more, but since it's right over there ----> I'll let you check it out.
  10. As if on cue! Thanks! I consider you TD's expert in residence for these types of discussion!
  11. Well, I guess you and I have had different injuries and different recovery/rehab and different doctors monitoring how different motion activities affect us.
  12. Right. Why I'm hoping heazy will jump in with some perspective. Sometimes **** just happens.
  13. Well, of course in due time, but that's not what you said. And all my point was, that even those types of activities will be monitored and could be limited in any kind of post-surgery/rehab phase.
  14. My point is ... repetive motion stress is a consideration in recovery ... as one who is dealing and has dealt with various hand, arm, elbow, shoulder issues, I can attest to how the simplest of activities can exacerbate any issue ... from continued video game play, to smart phone and ipad use, to sitting at a desk all day long, extended computer use, etc. We are all different and our bodies handle any kind of various physical activity, even of the passive kind, differently. It's a matter of being aware of response.
  15. Uh, maybe not if any kind of surgery and/or therapy doesn't involve repetitive motion stress risks.
  16. If I lived there, or close enough, I'd be in on it, too. Especially if I lived an hour or two away. You don't have to worry about weather so much as you can make your decision to make the drive (or not) depending on how the weather looks. And, hopefully, will be able to find a seat somewhere.
  17. I tend to agree. Wonder if Heazy is around and can give us an expert opinion and perspective on this. But I've never seen any kind of correlation in this unless mentally it forced him to do something differently. Difficult to know for sure, so yeah, I do tend to agree.
  18. I'd be curious if any of these were an issue if the time between innings and half innings was cut to half. Limit the number of commercials shown and see what you get.
  19. This sums DSan up for me and always has. He can ill-afford to make them, yet he does. Athleticism shouldn't get him the job. Ability to do the job should.
  20. Yeah, I did not like how that was handled. And it looked as you said it. And I think the LF would've made that catch.
  21. I'm always off the hook ... or should be ... I keep hoping someone else starts one, then have to jump in when no one does!! Once the regular season begins, all will be made clear.
  22. Finally got to this write up this morning. I was one of those not completely 'in the know' on Romero. This write up made me hopeful and excited in a way I haven't been in a while. With Sano and Buxton coming up, they were much talked about so it wasn't as much of a surprise. But I'm going to really watch this one this year and hoping that what I see really builds the 'impatient anticipation' to seeing him in Twins uniform!
  23. MODERATOR WARNING: This is not a FO/GM past thread. MOVE ON! If you want to have a discussion of all the good and bad of Smith and/or Ryan, start a thread, but these thread jacks need to stop. And no, it's NOT relevant, not in this thread, not in the manner it's going. And I'm looking at a very small number of posters here. Please, stop. And stop in the other threads, too.
