  1. Barry Bonds is an insult to the integrity of the game and deserves only a place in the cheater's Hall of Shame.
  2. Only time will tell. So far I have liked the Castro signing and not been in favor of the three new special assistant hirings.
  3. Thumbs down on these hires. Yes, they are all well accomplished players with the potential to be successful in these roles. However, this feels like a Terry Ryan November 2015 move, not the anticipated splash from the new regime.
  4. Thanks to you for providing this site, this hard core Twins fan plans to check in everyday forever. I also refer friends and family to get more fans involved. Happy Thanksgiving and how many days until Opening Day?
  5. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

  6. It would be a fun winter during retirement to head down to Australia and watch baseball all winter long.
  7. Plouffe is a great guy and good player, it was time to move along. They really couldn't get anything for him though? Here's hoping Sano takes his offseason conditioning and training seriously this winter. Losing ABW is a bummer. Maybe the new guys thought he struck out too much? A bit of a head scratcher.
  8. Amen to that. We were able to gracefully part ways with Gardy. Now let's continue to cut ties with the past while at the same time still respecting and honoring past Twins legends.
  9. Count me on the JRM/Garver bandwagon if our choices are this bottom tier.
  10. Byung Ho Park would be a wonderful bounce back candidate. If he can get healthy and post some good numbers it could really help. Now, if that happens what to do with Joe Mauer?
  11. Glad to see Vargas playing winter ball and looking for a big season in 2017 for him with the Twins.
  12. Great memories, it is just that they are 25 year old stale memories and it would be nice to get another championship in the next decade or so.
  13. Kepler should be on the top 10 ahead of the two Wild players.
  14. Start building the bullpen into an asset where when the starting pitcher makes it into the 5th inning or later with a lead that lead is secure. It should be easier to build a bullpen quicker than a starting rotation. Ideally build both a new bullpen and starting rotation, you just have to start somewhere.
  15. The big question is whether they have played against Tim Tebow yet and if so how they did.
  16. Why no love for the Wolves?
  17. It would have been more fun and interesting to list the top three worst Twins pitchers. That would be a barn burner.
  18. They were brutal and the worst team in Twins history.
  19. How many more years will we peddle the "It's just around the corner" Kool aid? Agreed that the young core of hitters is promising, it's just that the pitching is so bad it's hard to stay optimistic. This is a critical time in franchise history to avoid a losing culture that might linger for a decade plus. The next few years are critical.
  20. The two examples you give of MVP winners on bad teams are 91 ad 95 loss teams. Our Twins this year are crashing toward 105 losses, almost assuredly 100 losses. Has an MVP ever been on a 100+ loss team? Dozier has been great, just not THAT great to overcome such a bad team record.
  21. The schedule has been released, get your tickets for 2017!
  22. Here's hoping Dozier gets to 50 - would be fun to watch.
