Hildy is cooked. I guess it's Reed, May or Rogers until Matty B. returns.
  2. howeda7
Paul Molitor frantically looks at a calendar to see when new closer Matt Belisle is eligible to return from the DL.
  3. howeda7
Cut Morrison already. He's back to looking pathetic after a brief stretch of competence. Something is up with Mauer's health with all the games at DH. I think it's better than 50/50 he retires at the end of the season.
  4. howeda7
I like Hildy, but he's been broken for a while now. DL him already. Reed or someone else should have been used there.
  5. howeda7
I am confident that Falvine will not co-mingle decisions about Mauer, Machado and Escobar.
  6. howeda7
Hildy is broken. Either a DL stint or a AAA stint is in order.
  7. howeda7
What's the word on Mejia? We can't have nice things?
  8. howeda7
They'll DL him until 9/1 and then bring him back for some sweet September innings.
  9. howeda7
    Can't quit. Won't quit.
  10. howeda7
Sano at 1B. Escobar at 3B. Polcanco at 2B.....Machado at SS. Simple!
  11. howeda7
If they need his veteran presence that bad, he can be the #3 bullpen assistant.
  12. howeda7
If Belisle is on the roster tomorrow, someone should be fired.
  13. howeda7
My guess is they're hoping he'll go on a 3 HR-in-a-week binge get his average above the Punto line and they can get someone to take him off their hands still.
  14. howeda7
Only if we get Duensing in return. We can't lose that much veteran presence and not replace it.
  15. howeda7
I really didn't think it was possible that I'd be disappointed when Grossman was finally off the roster. But here we are.
  16. howeda7
I guess we are back to Magic Fingers Wilson catching at least 50% of our games. Sigh. Oh well it was a nice break for 2 weeks. We need to see what Bobby and Matt Belisle can bring to the table for 2019!
  17. howeda7
Call up Austin. Between him and Adrianza they can get by. Grossman's a disaster in the OF anyway.
  18. howeda7
Gross mismanagement by Molitor when Grossman went out. How do you not put Mauer in there instead of Morrison? Cost them 2 outs in the 8th. Or give up the DH and put Kepler in RF. Or both.
  19. howeda7
11:13 PM. Meaningless game. Why would you not just call it?
  20. howeda7
    Make Morrison bunt here.
  21. howeda7
Lol. The level of outrage y'all can muster over a couple of meaning less waiver claims is hilarious.
  22. howeda7
Might need to treat the bottom of the 5th like the bottom of the 9th.
  23. howeda7
If someone wants to claim Odorizzi, I would be OK with that.
  24. howeda7
I doubt he will clear. He's cheap and has been decent.
  25. howeda7
Rosario makes the most bone-headed plays sometimes.
