    Ditto on the Yankee loathing. The other Sox (Red ones) are just a half-tick below the Yanks on my hate-meter- and they play each other 19 times a year. It almost makes me hate baseball itself, since only 1 team can lose each game. I rationalize it, though, by 'rooting' for the away team. That way, at least the ultra-entitled home fans in Fenway or the Bronx can go home with an outrageously-expensive-beer-hangover having watched their team get stuffed in their own park.

    Heh... As much as we hate ex-Twinkies coming back to bite us, it's so sweet to have an ex-Sock coming back to bite them. Even Hawk hated to lose him, called him "a good little player." Go Esco!

    *sigh* You cats may know I've been on the never-Molly train since the get-go. But willing to give a chance. Ok-- chanceS... But heck, here we go again, eh? Got lots of new, shiny bullpen toys for Xmas, and he has to break something the first day. (I refer to Mr. Duke's outing). I dunno. We do have what looks like a real Bp this year, as opposed to a hope-this-works one; I just hope he learns to use it effectively.

    Ho-hum. 5:50 AM, and I woke up in time for the Kepler at bat. Now it's bonus baseball for breakfast!! Hmmmm, that chicken sausage looks good.... Maybe just start with a cuppa Joe. Don't want to count my... you know....

What a great pickup! Chicken! Chicken! Chicken Dinnah!!!! Woo hoooo!!!!! Sorry, guys, the game comes on at 3AM Hong Kong time, I'm just getting my comments in early, before I go to bed.

    There's a lot of talk about Lynn being a league-average type of pitcher--- BUT- a league-average pitcher who's been to a World Series, and on a perennial pennant-contending team. I'd take him in a hearbeat, with this club.

    Every day recently I log on here, hoping for a Lance Lynn signing. I'm not going to hold out hope for the playoffs unless I see him in Twin-stripes. Come on, Falvine! A pennant may be out there yet!

    I'm excited to see LoMo as a Twin. Really dug the Odorizzi deal, too. Finally, some things are happening in the winter (nearly spring) time for once in Twinkieland. Now, I just need to see Lance Lynn over here, too, and my offseason will be complete!

    Dude- did you miss the whole point? It's about how the Twinks developed and handled these gentlemen, which did not lead to putting them into positions of success. Quite the reverse of how the Yanks handled their players.

    No. He'll be a Yankee soon. If I'm his agent, I take a look at how the Asian signings for the Twins have gone- both badly mishandled- and stay the heck away. It's sad, I've love to see this guy as another part of an exciting young core, but... The Yanks have all the money and exposure in the world, and have had success with their players from Japan- a much better track record. Just another reason to hate them even harder, I suppose.

    Not sure about this-- My memory is tricky. I barely recall what I had for lunch, but my memories of David West (showcase of the Viola deal) are clear as a bell.
