  1. Also, the team formerly known as the Oakland A’s. Both of these teams have been nothing more than farm systems for the large market teams for a vast majority of my baseball fandom.
  2. Joe is going to have plenty of interest from teams this winter. 2 things that won’t surprise me at all: - He requests a trade out of Minnesota - He immediately signs a long term contract with the new team… just like Berrios did in Toronto.
  3. No kidding. We got an RB 1 for what, a 6th round pick? He's basically what the coaching staff dreamed Mattison would be, but Mason has so much more talent than he ever did. Other observations: - The demeanor and body language between McCarthy and Williams is night and day. McCarthy was bouncing around the sideline pumping up the OL and talking to KOC/McCown. Especially when it was rough going the first 3 quarters. Once the wheels were falling off for the Bears, Williams was pouting on the sideline not talking to anyone. - Rough first game for Ben Johnson as HC. Going for it on 4th down in the 1st quarter when they could have used the 3 points. Challenging the Hockenson down by contact play was bizarre.
  4. I mean, we're just as bad as the bad teams you mentioned and we want nothing to do with him anymore... I guess there's always a chance, but I think odds are very low another MLB signs him this winter.
  5. Average at best talent with a poor attitude isn't a recipe for MLB success. Why would another team give him an MiLB deal when their scouts see how much he pouts being in AAA? His next stop will be in a foreign league.
  6. It really is amazing that Chicago continues to make the wrong decisions at QB over and over again. Thank God they didn't take either Jayden Daniels or Drake Maye.
  7. Lucky we’ve got some previous chemistry with Kelly and Fries playing together in Indy. I didn’t notice too many pressures from the right side. It was almost exclusively from the LT spot
  8. Price looking like the best punt returner we’ve had in I can’t even remember. I’m just used to guys like Brandon Powell catching a punt and diving forward for a 3 yard return.
  9. Jefferson early on almost got snagged by the sod seam on a few routes. Glad we’re leaving this one with only Cashman at risk of hitting the injury list
  10. The offense is gonna look so much better with Darrisaw back at LT. The backup #67 had a brutal game.
  11. I’m just happy we stole a win on the road against a division opponent. It was ugly, just like that putrid field surface
  12. Great comeback win. Defense kept us in it the whole game. Then McCarthy and the offense figured things out in the 4th quarter. 1-0 baby!
  13. The first 3 quarters were just horrible to watch. But man, McCarthy has a killer instinct that can’t be taught. What a game!
  14. We've had a strong farm system for the past 10 years. Look at where that's gotten us...
  15. You don’t have to. Joe Ryan was quoted saying exactly that.
  16. I’m conflicted who to believe. One of his teammates for 2 years that said Sonny loved it here and wanted to stay. Or Twins fans on a message board. Hmm…
  17. Haven't been this hyped up for a Vikings QB debut in years. The clock can't move quickly enough today!
  18. I applaud Joe Ryan for the interview. It's rare to see a current player call out ownership and the front office during the season, and he's not wrong. Sonny Gray was the casualty of "right sizing" the payroll and we've been in free fall ever since. Lopez vaguely mentioned a culture issue, Lewis has been dancing around culture issues in the organization. Joe Ryan went full frontal on the issue.
  19. Football is so back baby! I chose the exact wrong time to take my dog outside for a walk.
  20. Good luck stopping the Ravens running the football. My god
  21. That was an incredible catch for D Hopkins
  22. Teams are so good at the 2 minute drill to get into FG range at the very least now.
  23. We are seeing a huge increase in kickoff returns after years when it was an automatic kneel down. Good stuff
  24. Big TV ratings can count less than 1 hour of my eyes watching the Twins live this past week. A vast majority of that time coming when the Eagles/Cowboys game got delayed with thunderstorms on Thursday. It’s crystal clear that tanking is the top priority the rest of the season, It’s driving important players like Joe Ryan crazy. To the point where he will request his way out this winter.
