    Hmm, VERY interesting... It almost sounds like the taller guy and the bald guy in his 60's were fighting about something... Maybe fighting about where he should be playing and what his role is on a pitching rotation? Either way this is fascinating! And only the kind of reporting you'll hear on Twins Daily! This is way too controversial for Reusse or Souhan to report...

    I have also heard that aliens abducted Alex Meyer and returned him promptly when it was announced he was traded to the Angels! Can you confirm or deny seeing him in the space ship?

    It could cost plenty in trade value if he regresses back to being a .200 hitter for 2-3 months to start the season. Much like Nunez, I don't think there's going to be a better time to sell than this winter after coming off a career high in HRs.

    What would Sano's glove or elbow have to do with Dozier? Dozier's not playing 3B... Polanco there's a real concern since he'd be the backup option. Probably Beresford or someone else is signed to step in.

    Defense has been a problem for a long time now. It is a night and day difference without Buxton out there making up for Grossman's terrible range.

    Perhaps he is. I'm no great Cardinals lineup mind. Just saw him on the qualified 2B stat list on Fangraphs and assumed he did.

    There could be a fit with the Dodgers. I forgot they have Chase Utley's decaying corpse playing 2B... I don't really see the fit with the Cardinals. Matt Carpenter is pretty solid. Personally I think there's better fits in the AL. And I would hope that an AL team pays a higher price because he could slide in as a very capable DH.

    2 more errors for Grossman yesterday. He's proving to be a huge liability in the field. I don't want a 4th OF who can't play in the field.

    Perhaps the Yankees are a fit to acquire Dozier now that they restocked their farm system? It should be no surprise that Castro is nothing special, with 0.4 WAR according to Fangraphs. Sanchez + some of their new prospects for Dozier?

    Luckily Dozier has turned things around after being a replacement player for 11 months. There was a stat mentioned on Gleeman and the Geek which prompts me to be on the sell Dozier now bandwagon. From July 2015 to July 2016, 125-ish games, he was batting around .200 with a replacement level OPS. His streaky play is incredibly frustrating, and it's not just a couple of weeks where he's hot or cold. We're talking about entire halves of the season either being red hot or ice cold. If Dozier keeps it up the rest of the season, I would think he could be sold at a premium rate this off-season.

    I don't hold any grudge against A-Rod, and he was one of the most talented players I've seen in my baseball fandom. He's this close to 700 why not see if he can do it in the next month and a half? Just not on the Twins.

    Hard pass. Hopefully he does find a place to play to get to 700 HRs. It wouldn't make any sense for him to do that here.

    I'd prefer signing a legitimate veteran OF as a stop gap so Buxton can earn his way into the lineup. Somebody like Carlos Gomez for example. In a scenario like that, Grossman can still stay on as the 4th OF, DSan's off the team, and Escobar takes over as the utility player.

    The Nationals need to save up to afford Bryce Harper's upcoming $400 million contract, no? I suspect they're going to let Ramos go.
