    Haha nah... A couple of 4th graders hypnotized their school principal to become Captain Underpants... The school principal was a meany to children, and whenever he became Captain Underpants, he was a nice guy! He also fought villains such as Dr. Diaper, 6th grade bullies, and Wedgie Woman.

    Completely agree. If there's any extension being discussed, I'd want 8 years like you said.

    I really thought Hughes would be a disaster from the get-go, so he's far exceeded those expectations. I'm still curious to know if/when the wheels are going to fall off though. Now that teams have 4 of his starts on video and they see the trend of heavy change ups, we'll see if more teams wait for the mistake pitches and send them a long way.

    Concur with several people here... If Greene is the guy at 1:1, then pony up and don't low ball him. This organization does have depth.... It's debatable how good/great the depth is, but it's there. They're sorely lacking star power. I'd take my chances on Greene, who's been called a generational talent by KLAW, Longenhagen, and other national authors.

    Whole Foods believe it or not has REALLY tasty crow! They say it's sourced locally, so I feel good knowing that it's not a processed crow from some far away land.

    Gibson is the Alexi Casilla of pitching... He showed he could be a decent pitcher over a 3-4 month sample, and we've been chasing that success ever since... He's had a long leash here since there hasn't been anything better to challenge his status in the rotation. Time is running out with him in this organization.

    I would truly enjoy a flight attendant using sarcasm and snark during pre-flight announcements... I mean, they do the same announcements thousands of times. Have some fun with it!

    Concur. I'm also of the belief that 90-100 high leverage innings is just as valuable as 160-180 innings as a #5 pitcher. Considering the team doesn't have a ton of talent in the rotation, I'd like to keep the bullpen strong, and utilize the Royals bullpen strategy this season.... Where we hope for 5-6 decent innings from the #4/#5 starter, and let the bullpen take over from there.
