Good luck to D Santana. This should hopefully work out for both parties. D San gets a fresh start, and the Twins take away Molitor's temptation of finding a way to play him.
They've been splitting playing time 50/50 between him and JRM for most of the season. Recently it's probably just playing the hot bat. JRM is heating up, and Garver is cooling down a bit.
From what we've read over the last year+, he's a pro hitter who knows how to work a count, draw walks, and rarely strikes out. It's possible they finally have a traditional lead off hitter to plug into the lineup.
They were damn good... Breakfast taco with migas, avocado, and pepper jack cheese. 1 chicken fajita and 1 Al Pastor... A homemade tortilla is the key to a great taco!
So last year the general thought was Kintzler's not that valuable in a trade because he didn't have a long track record, nor a ton of saves to generate interest... Is that still going to be the case this year now that national publications are devaluing saves, and wanting to use goose eggs as the new metric?
Big fan of Wade... Love the fact he's continuing to draw more walks than strikeouts. Also, nice to read that JRM's bat is finally coming around a bit in Rochester.
By the way, these are the game threads I love.... The weirder, the better! Where else can you go on the internet to discuss snowmobiles, Canadian tuxedos, and dad bods?
Biggest surprises so far IMO... The White Sox are playing well. A little over their heads at the moment. It sure would have been nice taking a flier on Holland this off-season... The wheels have fallen off quickly for Kansas City. IIRC they were projected to be a ~75-80 win team. Their pitching looks just as bleak as Minnesota. Except Minnesota has an offense to back up a middling pitching staff.... They do not.
