    Concur. I might even slot him ahead of Morris at this time in the power rankings. As much as I like what Morris and Gomez are doing, neither one has playoff experience. Minter has 20 appearances in the post season. I'm hoping the Twins acquire one more playoff tested reliever, and a starter before the deadline.

    Agreed. If Tom P wants to go big or go home we should try to get Greene. Prior to this injury stricken season, he was a 6 and 4 WAR pitcher the previous 2 seasons at 24 and 25 years old

    So people have full context, Greene's contract is $15.3 million in 2027, $16.3 million in 2028, and a $21 million club option in 2029 with a $2 million buyout.

    We relied on 3 rookies to win a playoff series in 2023. I think we can handle 1 rookie this year.

    Not sure I agree with that. Offense can be replaced by prospects when the time is right to give them a chance. Culpepper and Jenkins are 2 easy call ups. This organization is 1 Joe, Taj, or Bailey injury from bullpen games every 4-5 days.

    Evidently there’s a 50/50 coin flip that he could be traded at the deadline. If we want to make a bold move, this is it. Then we get the best of both worlds with Royce and Greene from the 2017 draft… If it can be done, I have no problem giving up Emma Rodriguez or Tait, Hill or Quick, and another top 15 prospect to make it happen.
