  1. He is fantastic. In an ideal world - for me at least - Morneau does more advising/coaching of our young talent and walk away from broadcasting. Molly, Plouffe, and Span take on the TV responsibilities. Glen Perkins replaces Danny Gladden on the radio team.
  2. Maybe anointing Andrew Morris as the crown jewel of our bullpen is premature
  3. Humidity picking up… Supposedly getting storms overnight
  4. No clue tonight was Prince night if I knew I probably would have bought tix for the game
  5. Looking forward to a near future where our under performing vets like Bell never see the right side of the IF again
  6. If Lewis finds his former self he has the power profile to play 1B. I think that’s his best route back to the majors and long term for his career. Call Culpepper up tomorrow… Long overdue. 1B Lewis 2B Keaschall SS Culpepper 3B Lee UT Gray and Arcia
  7. Since Steve Cohen took over and started spending like a drunken sailor in 2020 the Mets have made the playoffs the same number of times as the Twins (2) and won exactly 1 more playoff series than our lowly bunch. Gee whiz, it’s almost like Steve Cohen would end up being a horse **** owner if he didn’t spend hundreds of millions more on a team compared to the league.
  8. Not concerned about the primary Mets fan here demonizing the billionaire owners. He's holding on for dear life that the Mets can still buy whoever they want, because if the financial playing field was actually leveled, they will end up as the equivalent of the New York Jets. Completely irrelevant.
  9. MLB's initial offer to MLBPA showed their cards that all of the owners, like the Pohlads, crying poor over supporting a $125 million payroll is complete BS. MLBPA has brainwashed fans for 60+ years that a salary cap isn't good, yet every other major sport in this country has one.
  10. He's a sidearm Sam Deduno. Sure there's movement, but he has no clue where the ball is going when it leaves his fingertips. God no. Unless we're actively trying to lose 100 games.
  11. Replacing SWR with Justin Lawrence does not inspire confidence in this FO. All to bring up a fresh bullpen arm for a game on May 31st. What a joke.
  12. Sad ending. Good thing we have Justin Lawrence now who hit 2 batters in his debut. That's gonna go really well.
  13. I’d rather see Morris go as long as he can instead, but you’re probably right. Paredes could have a disaster outing and really tax the bullpen.
  14. Very kind of us to give Erick Fedde an ego boost and his first win of the season.
  15. Oh good. Perfect time to debut our hot shot new reliever!
  16. It was fairly calm in the middle innings lol but the bullpen remembered who they are.
  17. I go to one meeting for my job, and all hell has broken loose checking Gameday
  18. Are we sure Taj Bradley is actually healthy? Isn't his velo down 2-3 MPH compared to April?
  19. No, they definitely had a choice. Funderburk was just sent down 3 days later. Are we better off losing 25 year old SWR for a 31 year old I had to look up his name again Justin Lawrence? It was reported SWR was lost because they needed a fresh bullpen arm on May 31, 2026 in a lost season.
  20. The answer to the above is 8 out of MLB.com’s top 10 prospects not being eligible to players playing AAA or above baseball. I’d take any of these players for Joe Ryan right now.
  21. How many guys do you think you eliminated in the graphic below by this criteria?
  22. Boy that is a stretch since he made 1 start in 2021 and 1 bulk appearance the following season. When he was up for good it was 2 WAR seasons and a complete overreaction this year.
