    I would make a bold, aggressive move for one of Hunter Greene, George Kirby, or Emerson Hancock. I am aware it's going to cost a lot in prospect capital, but they all have multiple years of control. I don't really expect that to happen... So more realistically, I think 1 more pitcher such as Dustin May or Brady Singer as rentals. Then figure out if things are good with Larnach after the leaked report, or if he wants to be moved now that he was a part of a rejected trade 2 days ago.

    The Angels will receive top shortstop prospect Arjun Nimmala, outfielder Eddie Micheletti and right-hander Angel Rivero from the Blue Jays for Jose Soriano.

    Old friend on the move again... Phillies are trading for three-time batting champion Luis Arraez of the San Francisco Giants and right-reliever Kaleb Kilian. The Giants will receive starter Ramon Marquez, the Phillies’ No. 4 prospect and reliever Marty Gair.

    1 - I don’t either. I think it’s a modest buy at best for the Twins. 2 - Agreed. Very likely Larnach for a reliever is on the table 3 - Yes Jeffers will be traded. Who knows how much time Zoll has left here, but I will hope he has the future teams in mind.

    The Twins addressed the issue with Larnach so he doesn’t quit on the organization. So I think it was real and clearly the Astros owner is the real GM. He negotiated the Correa deal last year too. Thank goodness he did to take on the remainder of C4’s salary

    This is what I suggested on when it was reported to be a coin flip on acquiring him. I have no problem giving up Emma Rodriguez or Tait, Hill or Quick, and another top 15 prospect to make it happen. If it takes another prospect sure. They can’t trade Lackey. Greene does carry some risk with his injury history. So the Chris Sale trade doesn’t hold much weight.

    You’re going to be blown away from this. The 2024 Chicago White Sox season came down to one game before they were eliminated from the playoffs. This sentence is incredibly bold and brave to say.

    Since the playoffs were expanded 86 wins is the magic number in the AL. For some reason fans were hoping 82 wins clinches your playoff berth this year.

    Morris and Gomez the top 2 bullpen options get L’s in back to back days. Building bullpens are tough. Should have kept Varland who has been quoted by a poster here to be worth an extra 5 wins last year after the trade deadline.
