  1. We have our first names being leaked as potential new owners…
  2. You trying to tell us that our current temp of 10 degrees with a real feel of -2 isn’t beautiful? You know Minnesota… ROBUST Japanese culture here. Sasaki can hit the ground running doing Sheboygan sausage radio ads and Menards TV commercials.
  3. I got downvoted for this and probably will again. Keep close tabs on Baltimore. When they miss out on Burnes and Santander because their GM is trying to be the smartest person in every room, they’ll get pretty desperate.
  4. San Fran is a classic Super Bowl hangover team. Should have made more changes but they stuck with their old roster. They are closer to a total rebuild than a Super Bowl run
  5. Time flies in the NFL. Wow I thought it was 2 years ago he was the dual threat RB/WR but that was 2021. Yeah, he’s getting too banged up and not the same player anymore.
  6. Weird sh** seems to happen to us in Seattle so I’d rather avoid that one if possible.
  7. If we keep up this pace he’ll be nominated for GM of the Year even with poor drafting because they knocked it out of the park with free agency. If there’s a positive, the Washington Commanders received nothing from 6 1st round picks between 2018-2023 and they’re still contending this year because they hit on Jayden Daniels. All is forgiven if Kwesi found a franchise QB.
  8. My only solace is Dallas Turner being 3 years younger than Verse but the early returns are bad for us. I was a fan of DT Braden Fiske heading into the draft too. Both of them dominated at Florida State
  9. Purdy looks pretty pedestrian when he doesn’t have all pros surrounding him.
  10. Brock Purdy gives me Dak Prescott vibes and if the 49ers decide to pay him $60+ million they’ll regret it immediately
  11. Purdy is still trying to force it his way and he drops another easy TD pass
  12. I’m rooting for the 49ers tonight. The Rams could be a scary team to face in the playoffs. I’d much rather have the 49ers limp in to eliminate at least one NFC potential on our way to a Super Bowl title
  13. 14 years ago today, the Metrodome roof collapsed. A few weeks later, Brett Favre was pile drived on a frozen TCF Bank Stadium turf that was not built to host winter football.
  14. Under if I were to guess unless they offer a few promotions for tickets closer to opening day. That’s paid attendance too… the real attendance is worse than that. In the 5-6 games I went to last summer the stadium was ~50% full. The mid September Tuesday night game against the Angels had maybe 10,000 people in the stands.
  15. Put that question in 1,000 point bold font. It’s the only question that matters. And so far? Doesn’t feel like anything has changed. Will they get creative and aggressive winning back fans? Time for Falvey to get to work trying to put more butts in seats at Target Field.
  16. 4th, 5th, 11th and 14th ranked org prospects from Boston according to MLB Pipeline
  17. Boston just traded 4 prospects, including Teel, for Garrett Crochet. It’s Baltimore’s time to act before their championship window slams shut.
  18. Since it is mandated by ownership that payroll needs to be cut, I will continue to pound the drum that Lopez is the most logical trade candidate. It sheds the most payroll off 2025, and he will receive the highest trade return out of anyone else (Correa, Buxton, Paddack, Vazquez) Keep close tabs on Baltimore. It’s a crucial offseason for them and they’re potentially losing both Corbin Burnes and 40 HR hitter Santander. They’re a pretty good match for a trade partner this winter.
  19. And that’s going to happen in any sports league. You’re going to have poorly run organizations, and star players can still choose desirable locations like NY, Los Angeles, or Miami. At least in the NFL and NBA, small markets can afford the star players just like the big markets.
  20. Then Cleveland immediately flips Spencer Horowitz to the Pirates End result is 4 players acquired by Cleveland for Andres Gimenez.
  21. Of course. There’s always a risk signing a player off a career year. Between now and March I’ll flip back and forth on it 100 more times. If I had to decide today I’d give him a 3 year deal with $100 mill guaranteed. But that’s with him playing the best football of his life over the last month. Hopefully he keeps it up the next 3 weeks against our division opponents and the playoffs.
  22. The Darnold decision may come down to this. Darnold is a boat. McCarthy could be anything, even a boat!
  23. Already ahead of you. I’m not going to put a second of thought into trade proposals this winter because why would I know how other teams view our players? Fruitless exercise if you ask me. The last 2 offseasons the FO has told us nothings going to happen. Not what Twins Daily wants to hear and report, but it’s true.
