    My exact thought when I just looked at the lineup. I would guess Roden is up soon and Martin is sent to St Paul.

    I mean, that’s been the going rate for a 16 oz specialty beer at every major event or concert for 10 years or more. I’ve gone to 2 Saturday games so far, bought 2 or 3 $2 beers and chilled the rest of the game. If I go to the game tomorrow or Wednesday, I’ll skip the beer. Or pregame before and uber to the stadium.

    Old friend Chris Paddack has been DFA’d for the 2nd time this year. He had a 6.04 ERA in 22 innings for the Reds after the Marlins DFA’d him earlier this year.

    It was a fun week to watch Twins baseball, when you could... Thanks Apple TV and Peacock. Never thought I would see the Twins bat around twice in one game, as well as score 10 runs in an inning. That was really awesome to see. They may be 2nd in runs scored in the AL, but they're also 2nd in runs allowed in the AL. Pretty telling that we went +24 in run differential last week, and still -18 overall.

    Here we are, in our mid to late 30s with mortgages and real life problems. Never seen a championship in MN men's sports.

    The 1998 Broncos were a very formidable opponent in the Super Bowl. I think Elway and the gang wins that no matter who represents the NFC. The 98 Vikings defense was pretty close to the 2026 Twins defense.

    Whoever won that game was winning the Super Bowl. The Colts were a flawed and injured opponent that made the big game because of Peyton Manning.

    The one that hurts the most is 2009 Vikings vs, Saints. They stole that Super Bowl from Brett Favre's hands and I will go to my grave believing that.
